Crime Report on July 26, 2018

1.    AN ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 156/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 25.07.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Puran Chand, I/O SIU, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.07.2018 at about 03-45 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the house of a lady R/o Down-Dale, Phagali, Shimla and recovered  2 gram Chitta (Heroin) & Cash Rs. 1,22,400/- from her possession. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand, I/O SIU, Shimla.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 157/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 25.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dhanveer Singh, I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 25.7.2018 at about 07-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Lower Bazar Shimla, one person namely Sandeep Kumar @ Goldi S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Krishna Nagar, Shimla apprehended by them and recovered 08 Bottles of English & 08 Bottles of Country liquor. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanveer, I/O PS Sadar.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 88/18 has been registered at PS East today on 26.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Biri Singh, Addl. SHO PS East alleging therein that on 26.07.2018, he along with staff was on patrolling/Nakabandi duty towards SDA Complex Kasumpti &  Mehli etc. At about 05-00 AM, when they reached at SDA Complex, Kasumpti, one Maruti Car No. HP03C-2767 came there and after saw the police he run away from the spot. They chaise the above vehicle and found parked on the road side near Brockhurst Chhota Shimla. During the search, 07 Boxes (84 Bottles) of Country liquor marka Una No.-1, has been recovered from the above vehicle. The case is being investigated by SI Biri Singh, Addl. SHO PS Shimla-East.

4.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 95/18 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 26.07.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chetan Sharma S/o Sh. Digamber Sharma R/o Chadha Niwas, Himfed Building, BCS Shimla A/P C/o PNB Rampur Bushehr Shimla, alleging therein that on 06.07.2018 some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP12D-3062 (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS 1 Model-2009) parked on the National Highway-05 near BSNL office Rampur. The case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev, I/C PP City Rampur.

5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 91/18 has been  registered at PS Chopal on 26.07.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Dila Ram R/o Village Charach PO Dhabbas Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla stated therein that today on 26.07.2018, one vehicle No. HP51-4073, which was on the way from Chopal to Nerwa, met with an accident at Dhabbas Kainchi due to rash & negligent driving of Surender S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Dhartowa, PO Nerwa, Shimla. In this accident, three persons namely i) Anant Ram S/o Sh. Ratnu Ram R/o Village Dhartuya, ii)  & Ramesh S/o Sh. Shyama Ram R/o Village Ghunsa  died on the spot and driver iii) Surender S/o Laio Ram R/o Vill Dhartua PO Nerwa died at CHC Chopal and two person namely Ramesh  S/o Sh. Chet Ram & Chet Ram S/o Sh. Jhunkru Ram  R/o Village Thachli, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ramesh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal.   

6.    During last 24 hours 582 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 346 fine realized Rs.  1,27,600/- and 37 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,900/-.

1.    Accused  Sushil Kumar  S/o Sh.  Rattan Chand R/o Village Malog, PO Taradevi, Tehsil & District Shimla ii) Rajesh Kumar @ Khanna S/o Sh. Mehga Ram R/o House No. 97, Dashmesh Colony, Mandi Govindgarh, Tehsil Amloh, Distt. Fatehgarh PB. & iii) Mustaq Mohd. S/o Sh. Rasheed Mohd. R/o Village Chhamroh, PO Oachhghat, Tehsil & Distt. Solan, arrested in case FIR No. 57/18 U/S 379 34 IPC at PS Dhalli remanded in Police Custody upto 27-07-2018 by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused i) Sunny S/o Sh. Surender R/o G-303, Tea-Huts near Kushal Hole, Jahangeerpur New Delhi-33 and ii) Avinash Vishwas S/o Sh. Uma Shankar R/o DG-76, 77, Galli No.-1, Swaroop Nagar, New Delhi-42, arrested in case FIR No. 189/18 Dt. 18.07.2018 U/S 170 420 120B IPC at PS West, is remanded in Police Custody upto 30-07-2018.   

3.    Accused Mustkeen S/o Sh. Alimudeen R/o House No. 47, Azad Nagar, PO & Tehsil Sikandrabad, District Bulandshahar, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 105/17 Dt. 19.09.2017 U/S 407 IPC at PS Rohru, is remanded in police custody upto 27.07.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused i) Mantahn Thakur S/o Sh. Surjeet Singh R/o Village & PO Nishani, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu and ii) Ashish Negi S/o Sh. Visheshwar Negi R/o Village Choura Tehsil Nichar District Kinnuar, arrested in case FIR No. 194/18 Dt. 23.07.2018 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, remanded in police custody upto 28.07.2018.    

5.    Accused i) Ashok Kumar  S/O Jali Ram R/O Vill  Suru  PO Koot Tehsil Rampur  Distt Shima HP 36 Years, ii) Vinod Kumar  S/O Mohar Singh  R/O  Suru  PO Koot Tehsil Rampur  Distt Shimla, HP, age 36 years iii) Krishan Kioshre   S/O Parma Nand R/O Vill Suru Tehsil Rampur  Distt Shimla HP, age 30 years, iv) Nand Lal S/O Parma Nand R/O Suru PO Koot Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla  HP &           v) Shamsher Singh S/O Surat Ram R/O vIllage Suru  PO Koot Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 70/18 Dt. 24.07.2018 U/S 382, 452, 323, 506, 34 IPC at PS Jhakri released on bail by the Ld. Court.

     Accused lady, arrested in case FIR No. 156/18 Dt. 25.07.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar             remanded in Police Custody upto 27-07-2018.
