Crime Report on August 21, 2017

1.  A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 149/17 has been registered at PS West, Shimla today on 21.08.2017 U/S 341, 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kanak Bhushan Verma S/o Sh. Puran Lal R/o Village Tisoli PO Arsu, Teshil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 23 years alleging therein that on 20.08.2017, he was coming back from Sanjauli. At about 01-00 PM, when he reached near Boileauganj Nalah, one person namely Rohit Thakur alongwith his friend restrained his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS Shimla West.

2.  A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 141/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 21.08.2017 U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hari Singh S/O Sh. Seva Ram R/O Village Rasendly PO Bhadhawali Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 21.08.2017 at about 08.45AM, Sandeep Kumar obstructed his way and beaten him brutally and also threatened with dire consequence. The case is being investigated by HC Narjeev Kumar, I/O PS Rampur

3.  During last 24 hours 158 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 101 & fine realized Rs. 43,000/- and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,800/-.    

 INQUEST REPORT

1.   Deceased Gurmail Singh S/o Sh. Bariyam Chand R/o Village Bahi, PO Jambal, Tehisl Dadasiba, District Kangra, age 49 years has been died due to fell down into deep Nalah near Browni Khad. During preliminary enquiry it has been found that on 20.08.2017, deceased Gurmail Singh on the way from Dhargaura to Rampur on foot. On the way he slept on parfait to take some rest  and fell down. His deadbody shifted to MG MSC Khaneri for further legal proceeding.

Crime Report on August 20, 2017

1.   AN EXCISE: Case FIR No. 147/17 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 19.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.08.2017 at about 05-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Bemloe, one person namely Neeta Ram S/o Sh. Ramiya Ram R/o Village Junaili, PO Jakha Tehsil Shillai (Rohnat), Distt. Sirmaur, HP, age 40 year apprehended by them alongwith 16 Bottles of illicit country liquor. The case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/o PS Sadar.  

2.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 86/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 19.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Naib Subedar P.K. Jena A/P 133 Midum Resident Aweri, Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu alleging therein that he was going to Jhakri from Kalka with Army vehicle. At about 03-50 PM, when they reached near Laban, one Alto Car No. HP52A-4941 came rashly in wrong direction from Sainj Side and hit with his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj.   

3.   A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 104/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 20.08.2017 U/S 420, 120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Pappu Soni, A/P running a jewelry shop at Kotkhai Bazar alleging therein that one lady alongwith 2 gents came to his shop and purchased jewelry amounting to Rs. 2,20,00/- and made a payment through cheque. When he went to the Bank for the clearance of cheque and came to know that the sign on the cheque was forged and no money was left in the account. The case is being investigated by ASI Het Ram.

4.   A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 117/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 20.08.2017 U/S 457,380,342 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mahinder Sharma S/o Sh. Brahma Nand Sharma R/o Village & PO Bharech P.O. Himri Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla stated therein that he alongwith other worker namely Guman Singh, Gulab Singh, Suresh and Akhil was sleeping in his room behind the temple. Today on 20.08.2017 at about 05-30 AM, when he wake up  in the morning and found that door was locked from outside.  he jumped out from window and open the door and saw that some unknown person has stolen away 2 big & 2 small chhatras, one tikka & cash Rs. 2/3 thousand from Shiv and Kali Mata Temple at Kufri. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.   

5.   During last 24 hours 173 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 82 & fine realized Rs. 26,100/- and 04 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 400/-. 

FIRE INCIDENT:

Today on 20.08.2017, a fire  incident took place at village Sansog. During the preliminary enquiry it has been found that at about 04-30 AM, while Sh. Kanwar Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Sansog, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 51 years was switching on the burner nob for making tea, suddenly fire broke out due to leakage of gas, caused sustained injuriest to him.

Crime Report on August 19, 2017

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No 145/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 18.08.2017 U/S 21, 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Lakshman Kumar, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.08.2017 at about 07-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Kamaldeep @ Bunty S/o Sh. Narayan Dass R/o Chail-Chowk, PO & PO Gohar Distt. Mandi A/P House No. 5, near Slaughter House, Krishna Nagar Shimla, intercepted by them near Auckland Tunnel and recovered 10 Tablets of Nitrazepam & 24 Capsule of Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Lakshman Kumar, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

2.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 146/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 18.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.08.2017 at about 08-50 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Balbir @ Gulli S/o Lt. Sh. Resham Singh R/o Quarter No. 1, Labour Hostel Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 43 years apprehended by them near Subji Mandi, Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of illegal Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

3.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 146/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 18.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila alleging therein that on 18.08.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ collection of intelligence regarding illegal trading of illegal liquor/drugs towards Sambar, Jarai etc. At about 07-30 PM, on the secret information he alongwith staff conducted raid in the shop of Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Devki Nan R/o Village Sanao (Jarai), PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 26 years and recovered 12 Bottles of illegal Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Theog).

4.  A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 148/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 18.08.2017 U/S 448 427 506 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Ankush Kumar S/o Sh. Surender Patiyal R/o Hosue No. 4, Upper Kaithu, Shimla, age 36 years alleging therein that he is running a shop for the last 16 years.  On 18.08.2017, three persons namely Anand Kuthiala, Som Kirti & Desh Bandu criminally trespassed in his shop and through outside his shop articles with the intention to illegally possessed on his shop.  On his asked, they threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PP Jutogh.

5.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 116/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 19.08.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Manjeet Singh S/o Sh. Mathu Ram R/o Village & PO Gwalpur Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi stated therein that he is working in Tairior canteen near Army Camp Charabra. During midnight, when he came out from his canteen, at the same time an unknown truck came rashly with negligent driving from Shimla towards Kufri &  hit him and run away from the spot.  The case is being investigated by HC Satvinder Singh I/O PS Dhalli.

6.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 107/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 19.08.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hemant Kumar S/o Kailash Chand R/o MH2, Type-1, Set No. 16, Housing Board Colony Kasumpti A/P driver in Taxi Maruti Van No. HP01A-0441, age 31 years alleging therein that on 19.08.2017 at about 01-00 PM,  he carry the school children in his vehicle and going towards Kasumpti. At about 01-40 PM, when he reached near Vijay Nagar Nalah, at the same time one Tipper No. HP63C-1525 driven by Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass R/o Village Banaula, PO Tundal, Tehsil Kandaghat, Solan, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his van, caused sustained injuries to them.     

7.  During last 24 hours 437 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 156 & fine realized Rs. 59,300/- and 33 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 3,400/-.    

FIRE INCIDENT:

On 18.08.2017 at 11-45 PM, a fire broke out in the House of Gurudhyan Singh S/o Sh Dhani Ram R/o Vill Khaltudhar PO Madhwani Tehsil Kumarsain due to short Circuit. Due to fire, 3 stories wooden house (14 Rooms), one cowshed, two Bath Rooms, gold and silver Jewelleries, cash Rs. 2 lacks and others house hold articles burnt totally. The approximate value of  destroyed property is about, 70/80 Lacks.

RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY

Four idols of Sirgul Maharaj, one Sculpture of Shivjee & two Shells (Shankh) has been recovered from the possession of two accused Chhattar Bahadur Shahi & Depinder Vishavekaram in case FIR No. case FIR No. 47/17 Dt. 18.08.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS Chopal

2.  Accused Shubham S/o Sh. Gowardhan Singh R/O Karchari PO Sharontha Teh. Rohru Distt Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 89/17 Dt. 15.08.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Rohru, today remanded in judicial custody upto 30.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.

1.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 142/17 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 17.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Sanjeev Gautam, SHO PS Sadar alleging therein that on 16.08.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Sadar. At about 03-30 PM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the dhara of Raju S/o Sh. Sadak Ram R/o Dhara near Labour Hostel, Krishna Nagar, Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor & 06 Bottles of English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp. Sanjeev Gautam, SHO PS Shimla Sadar.

2.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No 140/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 17.08.2017 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Banat Lal S/O Sh Roshan Lal R/o Village Deothi Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that he is posted as a Head Teacher at GSSS Urman Tacklech.  One lady Art Teacher comes to school daily in late hour and singed in attendance register. When he asked, she started to quarrel with him, also obstructed his way and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/C PP Tacklech.

3.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 93/17 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 18.08.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rishi Pal S/O Sh. Gurmukh Singh R/O Village Adhoni PO Durala Distt. Kururkshetra Haryana stated therein that on 18.08.2017, he alongwith driver Ajay Kumar and conductor Vijay Kumar was going in vehicle No. HR 65A 7083 Canter from Subzi Mandi Rohru to Kurukshetra, loaded with 300 apple carton boxes. At about 02.30 AM, when they reached near Chhapoti Kenchi, above Canter met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to rash and negligent driving of  Ajay Kumar. In this accident, Ajay Kumar sustained injuries and driver Ajay Kumar alongiwth conductor Vijay Kumar run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru.

4.      A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 47/17 has been registered at PS Chopal on 18.08.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the application of Sh. Daleep Kumar Sharma A/P Pujari, Shirgul Maharaj Temple Chopal stated therein that on the intervening night of 17/18.8.2017, some unknown culprits has stolen four idols  and one Shell (shankh) from Shirgul Mahraj Temple Chopal. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Singh, SHO PS Chopal.

Surender Pal R/o Labour House, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 30 years apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.1. 3.      A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 140/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 16.08.2017 U/S 341, 323, 506, 147, 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sahil S/o Sh. Narjeet Singh R/o Village & PO Reckongpeo, Distt. Kinnaur A/P residing in Hostel, Sanjauli College Shimla alleging therein that on 16.08.2017 at about 02-00 PM, when he alongwith his friends namely Abhishek, Manish & Rahul was present in the college, at the same time Akshit, Gaurav, Gulshan, Happy & Musafir Chauhan came there and restrained his way. They have beaten him brutally and attacked on him with spade. When they running to escape himself, they threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Nazeer, I/O PS Sadar.

4.      AN RIOTING: Case FIR No. 141/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 16.08.2017 U/S 341 323 147 148 149 IPC on the complaint of  Sh. Musafir Chauhan S/o Sh. Rajender Singh R/o Village & PO Khadahan Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years alleging therein that on 16.08.2017 at about 02-15 PM, when he alongwith his friends Nikhil Kedarta & Sachin Tegta was going to home from Sanjauli College and reached near College gate, at the same time Sahil, Abhishek, Manish, Rahul, Tovinder alongwith another boys restrained his way and beaten them brutally with sticks. Further investigated is in progress.

Paras Ram R/o Village Kutasani, PO Bychari, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 62 years alleging therein that on 16.08.2017 at about 04-45 PM, when he was going to home from Village Rehal, on the way his younger brother namely Hari Dass restrained his way, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being  investigated by HC Janam Dev, I/O PP Jutogh.

6.      A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 91/17 has been registered  at PS Rohru on 16.08.2017 U/S 451, 323, 504, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Mahendru S/o Sh. Sohan Mahendru C/o Manhdru Machinery  Store, Arahal Road Rohru, Shimla alleging  therein that on 16.08.2017, when he was working in his shop, one person namely Yadab Thakur entered in his shop & started to abuse him. He also beaten him brutally and  threatened him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath, I/O PS Rohru.     

7.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 137/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 17.08.2017 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manoj Gupta S/O Sh. Raj Kumar R/o Village & PO Nogli Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that today at about 01.30 AM one Pickup No. HP28-2791 driven by Satish Kumar S/O Sh. Ram Singh R/O VPO & Tehsil Nichar Distt Kinnaur HP came rashly with negligent driving and hit his car & three other vehicles. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Kumar, I/O PS Rampur

8.      A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 145/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 17.08.2017 U/S 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vikram Chauhan S/o Sh. Kanhaiya Lal A/P running a Shop “Chauhan Electronic” Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 16/17.08.2017, some unknown person has broken the shutter lock of his shop and stolen away one Laptop, 18/20 mobile phones, CCTV Camera alongwith LCD screen and cash Rs. 12,000/-. During search, they recovered CCTV camera alonwith LCD & mouse near bridge. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Theog.

9.      A  THEFT: Case FIR No. 92/17 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 17.08.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajjak Mohammad S/o Lt. Ajjijudeen R/O village Gaon Sari   PO Mandhol Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 14.08.2017 he parked his vehicle Max No  HP63A-2969 near Thakur Vikram Building Shaktinagar Rohru and the same day he went towards Parwanoo with his truck. On 16.08.2017, his wife Smt. Rubina Fatima informed him that some unknown person has stolen away  above vehicle Max No  HP63A-2969. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan, I/C PP City Rohru.

1.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 136/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 16.08.2017 U/S 279, 337,338 IPC on the rukka of HC Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on the intervening night one Motor Cycle No. HP06A-6620 (Discover) met with an accident at Kishti Point near Nogli due to rash & negligent driving of Man Bahadur R/O Devton, caused sustained Grievous injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Rampur

In addition to above following three cases reported in PS Rohru:-

1.  Case FIR No. 87/17  U/S 354 IPC has been registered on 15.08.2017 wherein the victim has reported that on 15.08.2017 at about 12-30 PM, while she was working in her field, a boy namely Kartik R/o Village Sharontha came from behind and in appropriately touched her with the intention to outrage  her modesty. On this Rohru Police swung into action and immediately nabbed the accused Kartik. Further investigation is in progress. 

2.  A MURDER: Case FIR No. 88/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.08.2017 U/S 302, 429 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bishanu Poon S/O Sh. Khokinder Poon R/O Village Pokhari Danda Gayri PO Bange Murat Tehsil & Distt. Jiuthan Anchal Rapti Nepal A/P working as Labourer with Rajesh Chauhan S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/O Village & PO Sharontha Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that on 15.08.2017, his father Sh. Khokinder Pun was alone at home (Dhara) and he alongwith his wife and his daughter was seeding peas in the field of Mohinder Singh. At about 01.30 PM, a boy namely Shubham S/O Sh. Goverdhan Singh R/O Village Karchhari came from his home (Dhara) towards fields with blood stained sickle and clothes and killed his goat by attacking with sickle (दराट) and ran away towards Karchhari. After a while, Smt. Kala Devi told to complainant’s wife that someone  has killed his (Bishanu Poon’s) father. He suspected that above boy namely Shubham  has murdered his father by attacking him with sickle. The case is being investigated by Insp. Narender Singh SHO PS Rohru. 

3.  A MURDER: Case FIR No 89/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.08.2017 U/S 302 IPC on the statement of Smt Sharmila Devi W/o Sh. Devi Dass R/O Village Tahtoli PO Sharontha Teh. Rohru Distt Shimla alleging that on 15.08.2017 at about 05.45 PM her father-in- law Jobnu Ram went for toilet near the house of Karmu Ram. When she come to her cowshed, she saw that one boy namely Shubam S/o Sh. Gowardhan Singh R/O Karchari PO Sharontha Teh. Rohru Distt Shimla, age 22 years, was pressing the jaws and was ripping the throat of  her father-in-law Jobnu Ram, thereby he murdered him. SP Shimla Ms. Soumya Sambasivan, Sh. Madankant Sharma, DSP Rohru alongwith forensic team visited the spot. It has been found that both these murder have been committed in a series by a same accused i.e. Shubham S/o Sh. Gowardhan Singh R/O Karchari PO Sharontha Teh. Rohru Distt Shimla, age 22 years. He has been arrested today along with weapon. 4.  During last 24 hours 497 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 107 & fine realized Rs. 39,300/- and 16 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,900/-.     

FOLLOW-UP

1.  Accused Chander Shekhar S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Village Kyari PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 46/17 Dt. 15.08.2017 U/S 153, 153A, 295A, 504, 507 IPC & 67 The Information Technology Act at PS Chopal, is remanded in Police custody upto 19.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.

Crime Report on August 15, 2017

1.  A THEFT: Case FIR No. 144/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 14.08.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish S/o Lt. Sh. Tek Ram R/o Village & PO Cheog, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein  that on the intervening night of 11/12.08.2017, some unknown person has stolen away his Pick-Up No.  HP63A-0920 alongwith its documents, parked on roadside on Main Road near his house.

2.  During last 24 hours 326 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 213 & fine realized Rs. 78,800/- and 37 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 4,000/-.
