Crime Report May 15, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No 80/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 14.05.2015 U/S 279,337,34 IPC on the statement of Smt. Him Dassi W/O Sh. Ramesh Chand R/o  Village & PO Rupi, Tehsil Nichar, Distt Kinnaur, HP stated therein that on 14.05.2015, he was travelling in Bus No. HP 26-7501.  At about 11.30 AM when above bus reached near Mehta Stone Crusher Rampur, suddenly door of the Bus opened and she fell down into the Road and sustained injuries.  Conductor Anit Kumar not closed /locked the door with carefully. This accident occurred due to rash driving of Driver Krishan lal and negligent act of Conductor Anit. The case is being investigated by HC Yoginder, I/O PS Rampur.

2. An accident case FIR No. 18/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today 15-05-15 u/s 279,304A IPC on the rukka of HC Balbir Singh I.O PS Kotkhai stated therein that today at about 09-00am one alto car No. HP09C-2985 met with an accident and rolled down 400 meter from the road near Devgarh Himari Kanchi due to rash and negligent driving of Ashok Kumar S/o  Chirangi Lal R/o Vill Janoti PO Himri Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla age 26 years. In this accident driver Ashok Kumar and Neema D/o Bir Bhadur R/o Janoti age 17 years died. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh I.O PS Kotkhai.

3. A obstruction the public servant during discharge his duty case FIR No. 37/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 14-05-2015 u/s 353,506 IPC on the  application  of Raj Mohan A/P Clerk O/O SDM Dodra-Kwar stated therein that that on 12-05-2015, at about 10-30 AM, Nariayan Singh S/o Sh. Shyam  Sukh, A/P Panchayat  Secretary  called in his office room. After that when he coming, suddenly Naraiyan Singh attacked him from backside and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru

4. A Wrongful restraint case FIR NO.115/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 14-05-15 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC   on the complaint of Sh. Gurvinder Singh S/o Sh. K.R. Bhawani R/o Knayas Lodge near Rajdoot Hotel old bus stand Shimla alleging therein that  he is working as a texi service. On 14-05-14 at 05-15 AM his texi driver informed him that some texi drivers did not allow him to plying texi. On this he went to stop and when he asked the reason for not plying of his texi Som Dutt driver of texi No. HP 01M-1032 and Tilak Bhadur driver texi No. HP01S-1129 stopped his way and beaten him with kicks and blow and also threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I.O PS Sadar.

5. A Rioting case FIR No.23/15 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 14.05.15 U/S 341,143,147,149 IPC  on ruka of SI/SHO Laiq Ram stated therein that today he was present with PS Staff and PP staff at HPPCL Colony Ganti Khad for law and order duty at the same time at 11:15 AM 60/65 villagers of Thana village including Vice Pradhan Abbal Singh, Ramesh Kotvi VDC Member Pavatri Devi, Raj Kumar Zinta, Suresh Kotvi, Rajinder Chintranta, Lokeshwar  Khalsta, Sunil Kalmolta, Anil Chintranta, Ghanshyam, Kishor Sharma, Abhay Bisht, Bal Mukand etc and other started protested against the construction of addit tunnel and also shouted slogan against company and Government and stopped the work of the company The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Liaq Ram PS Jubbal.

6. A Rioting case FIR No.24/15 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 14.05.15 U/S 147,149,506 IPC & 3PDP Act  on the complaint of Sandeep Thakur employe Patel Company Sawara Kuddu Project Sawara stated therein on 14-05-15  the company was started the addit Tunnel work near Village Thana along with there employee  at about 11:25 AM. At the same time  50/60 villagers of Thana Village including Sunil Zinta, Ved Prakesh, Rakesh Kotvi, Abbal Singh, Chaman and other unknown peoples gathered on the site and interrupted the company work and shouted slogan against the company and Government. They have damaged the JCB of the company and also throwing  stone on them. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh I/C PP S/Nagar PS Jubbal.

7. A Burglary Case  FIR No. 41/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on  14.05.15 U/S 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Khem Lata Sharma W/o Sh. Mehar Chand Sharma R/o Village Barogi, PO & Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night of 13/14.05.2015, some unknown person has been stolen away her gold/silver ornaments & cash Rs. 6000/-  from her house. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Ganga dev Negi P.S Kumarsain

8. A Cheating case FIR No 42/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 15-5-15 U/S 407,420 IPC on the compliant of Sh Davender Kumar S/o Sh Karam chand Vill and PO Parnu Tehsil Arki Distt Solan alleging therein that on 30-4-2014 he loaded 200 bag cement from baga to Kupadi near Kumarsain in the truck no HP-64-3063 driven by Manpreet Singh for delivery at Kupri Firm namely Dev Raj & Brother VPO Kupri Tehsil Kumarsain. After 03 days the owner of the firm informed him telephonically that the 200 bags of cement does not received in the firm. The driver of vehicle intentionally cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property and criminal breach of trust. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Ganga Dev Negi PS Kumarsain.

9. During the last 24 hours total 209 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 06 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & 01 Challaned under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded =108 and fine realized Rs 49,600/-

1. An Accident case FIR No. 06/15 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 13.05.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Sohan Singh S/O Sh. Roop Singh R/o  Village Judu, PO Shilan Tehsil Kupvi, Distt. Shimla stated therein that one vehicle No. HP-62B-1144 (Pick-Up) was met with an accident & rolled down 200 meters from the road near village Dimi due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Ramesh Chand S/O Sh. Mouji Ram R/o Vill. Tandai PO Jokhar, Tehsil Kupvi age 36 yrs.   One person namely Chhaju Ram S/o Sh. Bansi Ram R/o Village Junial (Pujarli) PO & Tehsil Kupvi, Shimla sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Garib Dass, SHO PS Kupvi.
2. A Rioting case FIR No. 113/15 has been registered at PS West today i.e. 14.05.2015 U/S 341,147,148,149,323,504 IPC on the application Sh. Mahidhar Prasad S/o Sh. Jagdish Prasad R/o Hegdewar Bhawan, Nabha Estate Shimla-4 alleging therein that today he alongwith his friend Deshraj Chadha were coming out from Tennis Ground Phagli, at the same time one person namely Vikas @ Appu alongwith his four friends came their and abused & beaten them. The case is being investigated by SI Nimast Ram, I/O PS West.
3. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 114/15 has been registered at PS West on  14.05.2015 U/S 341,323,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Vikas Jaswal R/o Phagli Shimla-4 he alongwith his friends were running in the ground near his house, at the same time some people obstructed their way and beaten them. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder No. 83, I/O PS West.    
4. During the last 24 hours total 232 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded =86 and fine realized Rs 43,000/-

Rukkam, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P C/o Sher Singh R/o Village Gasoh, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 58/15 Dt. 11.05.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Jhakri, today sent to judicial remand upto 23.05.2015 by the trial court.

Crime Report May 13, 2015

1. A wrongful restraint case FIR No.174/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 12.5.15 U/S 341,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Rajesh Kumar Saiktu S/o Sh. IShwar Dass R/o House No-159 H.B Colony Sanjauli Shimla-6 alleging therein that on 12-05-15 Smt. Dev Kanya parked her vehicle wrongly and stopped the way of his vehicle and also abusing and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being conducted by SI Tavender Singh I/O PS Dhalli.
2. A Murder Case FIR No 17/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai 12.05.2015 U/S 302 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Lokinder Singh S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Mohali PO Garawag, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is working as Munshi in apple orchard of Chander Sen Bharwani at village Kuri Mohli through C/o Virender Tageta since August 2013 and there are about 14-15 deras of Nepali. On 10.5.2015 he went to attend a marriage at Govindpur (Reoghati) and in the morning of 11.5.2015  one Nepali Deepak informed him telephonically that deadbody of Ann Bahadur is hanging  in apple tree . On this he informed the police. After inspection the spot, it reveals that some unknown person has killed him and hangs his deadbody in apple tree. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.
3. A Fire incident case FIR NO.111/15 has been registered at PS West today on  13-5-15 U/S 285,336,337 IPC on the Statement of Sh. Ganesh Dutt S/o Lt. Sh Thakur Dass R/o Ganesh Kutir Thakur Bag Annandale Shimla stated therein that he has rented one room set to Thakur Chand in the ground floor. Today on 13-05-2015 he heard loud noise in the ground floor. He rushed to the spot and found that Thakur Chand and his family member sustained injuries due to negligent work with explosive substance. The case is being investigated by ASI Partap Singh I.O PS West Shimla.

Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC

1. In the intervening night of 12.05.2015, deceased Vinod Nepali working as labourer at Shimla and residing temporarily below Lift near MC Parking, Shimla, fell down in the nallah outside his residence. He sustained injuries and brought to IGMC Shimla in 108 ambulance and died during treatment. His postmortem has been conducted and deadbody kept in mortuary house for identification.      

Crime Report May 12, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 110/15 has been registered at PS West on 11.05.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the application of Sh. Vivek Chandel S/o Sh. Rajender Singh Durga R/o Durga Niwas Taradevi Shimla alleging threin that on 11.05.2015, he was going to home in his motorcycle No. CH-03J-0708. When he reached near Sankat Mochan Temple, at the same time one vehicle No. PB-11ZL (T) 2398 came rashly and hit his motorcycle twice from backside and ran away from the spot. He fell down on the road and sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Narender, I/O PS West.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 78/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today i.e.  12-05-2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Rajesh Kumar, I/O  PP Nankhari, Shimla stated therein that on 11.05.2015 one vehicle No HP-52A-5314 met with an accident at Parmeshwari Dhank and rolled down about 350 Meter from the road. In this accident three persons namely Kanishak S/o Sh. Yashwant R/o Dharmana, PO Anti, Jubbal, Shimla, age 17 year, Abhiraj S/o Sh. Pramod Rajta R/o Village Rajtadi, PO Kalbog, age 17 years and Ms. Rohini D/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Housing Board Colony, Strawberry Hill Chhota Shimla have sustained injures. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar.
3. An Accident case FIR No. 36/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today i.e. 12.05.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Surat Ram S/o Sh. Brestu Ram R/o Village Rangoli, PO Ghawas, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 17.04.2015, he was going towards Rohru alongwith his son namely Rajesh in his Motorcycle No. HP-10A-5816 (TVS). At about 11-00 AM, when they reached near Samoli, at the same time one A/F Bolero Camper came rashly and hit his motorcycle and run away from the spot. In this accident they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal, I/O PS Rohru.

1. On 11.05.2015, deceased Besru Devi W/o Sh. Udham Singh R/o Village Narail, PO Laphughati, Tehsil Theog, age 57 years went to bring the grass from Devimore near Laphughati. Where she sliped and fell down. She sustained injuries and brought to CH Theog for treatment, where doctor declare her brought dead.

1. Accused Kamlesh Kumar Thakur S/o Sh. Roop Lal Thakur R/o Village Chhajoli, PO Danghar, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur, HP has been arrested in case FIR No. 06/15 Dt. 07.05.2015 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at Woman Police Station BCS Shimla, today sent to 14 days judicial remand by the Trial Court.  

Crime Report May 11, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 57/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 10.05.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of ASI Sher Singh, I/O PS Jhakri stated therein that on 10.05.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Majholi & Rattanpur. At about 05-30  PM, when they reached near Explosive Magazine Technology House Pvt. Ltd. Rattanpur, one person namely Dev Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Kumar R/o Village & PO Gotamkot, Tehsil Annah, Distt. Rukkam, Anchal Beri Nepal A/p Vilage Chharol, PO Kasol, Manipur Distt. Kullu intercepted by them. During search he recovered 1.80 Kg. charas & Rs. 10,000/- from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Sher Singh, I/O PS Jhakri. 

2. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 58/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 11.05.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri Shimla stated therein that on 10/11.05.2015 at 12.45 AM, during Nakabandi on NH-22 at Jhakri, one person namely Man Bahadur Sunar S/o Sh. Nande Sunar Nepali R/o Village & PO Gatamkot, Distt. Rukkam, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P C/o Sher Singh R/o Village Gasoh, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 500 gram charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

3. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 113/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 10.05.2015 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of Insp. Sanjeev, SHO PS Sadar stated therein that on 10.05.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Old Bus Stand, Shimla. When they reached at Taxi Parking near Old Bus Stand and found that four persons namely Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Tej Ram R/o Village Tapera, PO Navgaon, Tehsil Arki, Solan A/P Driver in HP-01A-1359, Mohan Singh S/o Sh. Mahant Ram R/o Village Tiri, PO Gagnu, Tehsil SunderNagar, Distt. Mandi A/P Tanent C/o Parmar Cottage, Ram Nagar, Shimla, Jagdish S/o Sh. Kala Ram R/o Village Alsu, PO Dehar, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, Mandi  A/P Supplier Verka Milk Kaithu Shimla and Prakash Chand S/o Sh. Budhi Ram R/o Village Dharsog, PO Ganagughat, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan were playing gambling and he recovered Rs. 3410/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Bala Ram, I/O PS Sadar.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 77/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 10.05.2015 U/S 279,337IPC on the statement of Sh. Vikki Sharma S/O Sh. Satpal R/o Village Shewal, PO Shawad, Tehsil Aani, Distt Kullu HP age 24 years stated therein that on 10.05.2015, he was coming towards Rampur along with Dimple S/O Nirth Singh Village Doi PO Nirth Distt Shimla in moter Cycle No HP-06A-5006. At about 12.30 PM, when they reached Bherra Khad, at the same time one Car No. HP-28-5293, driven by Rajesh Kumar S/O Chaman Lal Village Behad, PO Sarkagaht Distt Mandi, came rashly from Rampur side and collide with his m/cycle. They fell down from M/Cycle and sustained injuries. The case has been registered and being investigated by HC Janak Raj, I/O PS Rampur.

5. An Accident case FIR No 35/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 10.05.2015  U/S 279, 337,304A IPC on the  rukka of SI Vikas Sharma, Addl. SHO PS Rohru stated therein that on 10-05-2015 a car No. HP-10A-2953 (A-Star) met with an accident near Dayarmoli PO Kansakoti, due to rash & negligent driving of Partap Singh. Five persons were sitting in the above vehilce. Three persons namely Mohan Lal Nepali, his wife Sushila & son Shankar died on the spot and two persons namely driver Partap Singh & a minor girl Kushi sustained injuries.   The case is being investigated by  SI/Addl.SHO Vikas Sharma PS Rohru.

6. Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 109/15 has been registered at PS West on 10.05.2015 U/S 336, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shahrukh Khan S/o Sh. Mohd. Awas Khana R/o Village Watnag, PO & Tehsil Kukarnag, Distt. Anantnag, J&K A/P Jama Masjid, Middle Bazar Shimla stated therein that he is working as labourer in Shimla for the last 5/6 months. Last week contractor Kushal Thakur took him alongwith Arif, Isfak & Sajal for the working in the plot at Shoghi.   On 09.05.2015, when he alongwith Arif, Isfak & Sajal were digging on the plots, at the same time he buried due to landslide and sustained injuries. They had already warned the contractor to put the safety towards hill side, but he did not take any steps for their safety. This incident took place due to negligency of Contractor Kushal Thakur. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O PS West.

1. Accused Brij Lal S/o Sh. Jaan Pur Vill Thana PO Mandal, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 34/15 Dt. 08.05.15 U/S 379 IPC at PS Rohru, today sent to judicial remand for 14 days by the Trial Court.

2. Accused Dev Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Kumar R/o Village & PO Godamkot, Tehsil Annah, Distt. Rukkham, Anchal Beri Nepal A/p Vilage Chharol, PO Kasol, Manipur Distt. Kullu, arrested in case FIR No. 57/15 Dt. 10.05.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Jhakri, is on police remand upto 14.05.2015.

1.    A Criminal Trespass Case FIR NO. 21/15 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 09.05.2015 U/S 447 IPC & 33 Indian Forest Act, on the complaint fo Sh. Piyush Kumar Range Forest Officer Jubbal alleging therein that Sh. Ravinder Singh S/O Late Sh. Lalu Ram R/O Jachali, PO Prounthi, tehsil & PS Jubbal, Shimla has forest Land 334/1 Area 0.31-04 Hec & Constructed RCC Bldg. in Forest land Khasra No. 334/1 area 0-01-12 hec-Check Jachali. Case is being investigated by HC Pyare Lal I/O PS Jubbal.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 56/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 09.05.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Layak Ram S/O Sh. Lt. Sh. Sagar Sain R/O vill. Batseri PO & Tehsil Sangla Distt. Kinnaur age 45years alleging therein that on dated 05-05-2015 he went to Mattour Distt. Kangra in the marriage ceremony alongwith Sushma, Deepmala, Lalita, Phool Kumari & Aarav in the vehcile NO HP02A -0547 Mahindra XYLO. The person Devender Kumar driving the above vehcile. On dated 08-05-2015 at about 5:00 pm all of them coming back to their home Sangla from marriage ceremony. on dated 09-05-2015 at about 12:45 afternoon when the above vehcile driver Devender Kumar reached at Basmati Dhaba Badhal,then the driver hit the above vehcile with another vehcile No HP06C-2179 Tata 407 pickup. In this incident all of them has got injuries. All of these just happened due to the necligency & rash driving of the driver Devender Kumar. Case has been investigate by HC Gopal Singh I/O PP Jeori.

3.    An Accident case FIR No. 19/15 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 09.05.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Rakesh kumar S/O Sh. Jagat Ram vill Vabi P/O Rusla tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that when he, Dinesh , Pradeep, Sudesh and Munish were going to home from Nerwa to Vabi by Belro kemper A/F when they reached near Devi Dhar Kenchy driver Munish stopped  the vehicle and he driver Munish and sudesh came out from the vehicle for toilet. At the same time Dinesh started the above  vehicle and vehicle fell down near about 40-50 feet from the road. In this accident dinesh , sonu ( Pradeep) sustained injuries . Case is being investigated by HC. Ramesh I/O PS Nerwa.

4.     An Accident case FIR No. 108/15 has been registered at PS West on 10.05.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC  on the Rukka of HC Anil Kumar I/O PS West stated that a veh. NO. HP 51-3919 rolled down from 80 feet in which two persons namely Ramesh S/O sh. Nanak Chand R/O Bhar, PO Anandpur, The. & Distt Shimla and Sh. Rakesh Kumar found injured. Sh. Ramesh Kumar was driven the vehicle. The Case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar I/O PS West

5.    An Accident case FIR NO. 112/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 09.05.2015 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC  on the Rukka of HC Amar Dutt I/O PP Lakkar Bazar stated therein that a Maruti Car No. PB 10AL-6643 rolled down from the road about 85-90 meter. In the above incident driver Surender Kumar and Sh. Rajesh Kumar found dead. The Case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Sadar, Shimla.

6.   During the last 24 hours total 121 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, Total Challan compounded =121 and fine realized Rs 11,900/-
