Crime Report Feb. 07, 2018


1.   An Excise Act case FIR No. 29/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 06-02-2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Krishan Lal I.O PS Dhalli alleging therein that on 06-02-2018 as per secret information he alongwith staff raided the shop of Kamal Kishor S/o Bhoop Ram Vill Deothi PO Thailla Tehsil Sunni and recovered 45 bottles of country liquor Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Krishan Lal I.O PS Dhalli.

2.   An Excise Act case FIR No. 21/18 has been registered at  PS Kumarsain today on 07-02-2018 u/s 46 HP Excise act on the rukka of ASI Hem Chand I/C PP Sainj alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Churu Pani near Sainj.  During patrolling he intercepted 04 persons who were consuming alcohol & create public nuisance on the road NH-05. Half bottle of English liquor Solumate blue has been recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand I/C PP Sainj.

3.    A House Trespass case FIR No. 24/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 06-02-2018 u/s 448 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Kanta Devi W/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Vill Balaiyan PO Tiyali Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that the women of Mahila mandal of Chalu Bhaliyan broken the door lock of building of Mahila Mandal Baliyan Major and illegally trespassed in the building. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh I.O PP Phagu PS Theog.

4.   During last 24 hours 181 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 123, fine realized Rs. 51,000/-, 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,000/-

3.    Accused Aman Kalra S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o House No. 72 Ward No. 14, Patel Colony, Teshil Rajpura, Distt. Patiala, Punjab, age 24 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 21/18 Dt. 04.02.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Shimla Sadar, is remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

Crime Report on Feb. 06,2018


1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 05.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 05.02.2018 at about 06-45 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking alongwith staff, one person namely Subhash Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Ran Bahadur R/o Village Sari Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 46 years, intercepted by the them near Gushali Curve and during the search, 44 gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 06.02.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Arun Mehta S/o Sh. Balveer R/o Village Adarsh Nagar PO Khamadi  Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 24 years alleging therein that on 06.02.2018 at about 08-00 PM, one vehicle No. HP63-3837 (Pick-Up) met with an accident & rolled down from Nankhari-Khamadi road, due to rash & negligent driving of Rajender Kumar. In this accident, three persons namely i) Rajender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Sarjan Dass R/o Village & PO Kungal Balti, age 45 years, ii) Nikka Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Laxmi Dass R/o Village Dogri PO Kungal Balti, age 25 years and iii) Ramesh Chand S/o Sh. Karam Dass R/o Village & PO Kungal Balti, age 52 years, died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal, I/O PS Nankhari.   

3.    A CHEATING case FIR No. 23/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 06-02-2018  u/s 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Madan Sharma he is working as a commission agent at Apple Parala Mandi Chailla Shop No. 25 (Theog) . During apple season some of the apple purchaser have purchased the apple from him. They have paid the payment of apple in routine in the beginning and won their faith. Subsequently for transaction of payment they started excuse of bank holiday & other and one day run away. The said apple purchaser run away with the intention to cheat them and cheated in crores. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar I.O PS Theog.  

4.  During last 24 hours 357 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 161, fine realized Rs. 78,200/-, 24 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,500/- and  01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 7,500/-

FIRE INCIDENT

1.    On 05.02.2018 at about 09-00 PM, A Fire incident took place in the house of Lt. Sh. Pinjru Ram S/o Lt. Sh Dungal R/o Village Sawaari PO Kumarsain Distt. Shimla, in the jurisdiction of PS Kumarsain. In this Fire incident, his wife Smt. Sevati Devi, age 80 yrs burnt badly and died on the spot.

2.    On 05.02.2018 at about 06-45 PM, a Fire Incident took place in the Dhara of Sh. Ajay Thapa S/o Sh. Bhagat R/o Village Achham Bairbh Sathan PO Turmakhat, District Achham, Nepal A/P working as labour with Bittu Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Alam Chand R/o Village Odla PO Bakhol Tehsil Kotkhai Shimla, due to electric short circuit, in the jurisdictions of PS Kotkhai. In this incident, his wife Rameeta, age 22 years, Son Himal & Brother Dinesh Thapa, age 22 years sustain burn injuries due to fire. All injured persons shifted to IGMC Shimla for treatment.

Crime Report on Feb. 05, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 21/18 PS Sadar has been registered at PS Sadar on 04.02.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sheesh Pal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 04.02.2018 at about 07-05 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Aman Kalra S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o House No. 72 Ward No. 14, Patel Colony, Teshil Rajpura, Distt. Patiala, Punjab, age 24 years intercepted by the them near Veterinary Hospital, Cart Raod Shimla and during the search, 10 gram Heroin (Chitta) recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Sheesh Pal, I/O PS Sadar.
2.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 30/18 has registered at PS Shimla West on 05.02.2018 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS Shimla West alleging therein that on 04.02.2018 at about 10-00 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking at Shoghi Barrier, one vehicle turned back towards Solan after saw the police. On doubt, he alongwith staff chased the above vehicle and intercepted above vehicle No. HP03(T)-4325 (Alto K10) alongwith three persons namely Balwant Singh @ Ballu  S/o Lt. Sh. Hari Singh R/o Panchhi Ahata, Lower Khalini, PO Rajhana, Shimla, age 36 years, Ashok Verma @ Don S/o Sh. Mohan Singh R/o near Railway Station, Shoghi, Shimla, age 37 years and Sanjay Kumar S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Lagaan PO Majhed Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 35 years, near Khawara Chowki Shoghi and during the search, recovered 23 gram Heroin (Chitta) from their possession. The above accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS West.
3.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 05.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Insp. Phool Singh, SHO PS Nerwa, Shimla stated therein that today on 05.02.2018 at about 05-30 AM, during Nakabandi/traffic checking at Neouti, a HRTC Bus No. HP63-5347, plying from Nerwa to Chamunda, stopped by them for checking and during the search 2.900 Kg. Charas recovered from the above Bus. The efforts are still continuing to search the accused. The case is being investigated by Insp. Phool Singh, SHO PS Nerwa.
4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 04.02.2018 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jawahar Jishtu S/o Sh. Javind Lal R/O Village Bhadasa PO Naula Sub Tehsil Kotgarh Distt Shimla HP stated therein that on 04.02.2018 at about 05.40 PM, one Vehicle No. HP35-1971 B/Camper driven by Inder Singh S/O Sh. Madan Chand R/O Pipal Hatti PO & Tehsil Nirmand Distt Kullu, came rashly with negligently driving from Nirsu Side and hit his vehicle No. HP06C-5888, parked near HP PWD Old Patrol Pump New Nogli. The case is being investigated by HC Hukam Lal No.103 I/O PS Rampur
5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 04.02.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Harsh Sharma S/O Sh. Mahavir Sharma R/O Village Ranvi PO Sarahan Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that  04.02.2018 at about 07-05 PM, he was coming back to home alongwith his friends Ajay Thakur in his Alto Car No. HP06A-2950. As they reached near bridge at New Jhakri, at the same time a vehicle No HP06-5450 (Eon) driven by Desh Raj R/o Majhewali, came rashly with negligent driving & collided with his vehicle. Before this incident, Desh Raj was also hit a person namely Rajender near Jhakri & run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Harbans Lal, I/O PS Jhakri.
6.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS East on 04.02.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kamal Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Madan Lal Sharma R/o Village & PO Beolia Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 46 years stated therein that on 04.02.2018 at about 04-35 PM, one Maruti Car No. CH04-4932 met with an accident near GSSS Beolia & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Kamlesh Kumar. In this accident, three persons namely Kamlesh Kumar, Susheel Kumar & a foreigner namely Morogo, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Dalip Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.  
7.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 29/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 04.02.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Roop Ram Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Chand R/o Village Rangol PO Kohbag Tehsil & District Shimla A/P running a Shop, Pal Building Hira Nagar, Totu, Shimla stated therein that on 04.02.2018 at about 02-20 PM, one vehicle No. HP34A-8087 came rashly with negligent driving and collide with Canter No. HP62C-1650, parked in front of his shop. In this accident, two persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Janam Dev, I/O PP Jutogh. 
8.    NEGLIGENT CONDUCT WITH RESPECT TO MACHINERY: Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 04.02.2018 U/S 287, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Balak Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Dass R/o Village Khangra, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla stated therein that construction work is on progress  in Sawra-Kuddu Hydel Project. On 04.02.2018 at about 03-30 PM, Excavator operator Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Jaswant Singh R/o Bassa PO Mijgran Tehsil Jawali, Distt. Kangra negligently operate the machine and crushed a person namely Daya Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Zyaam Singh R/o Village Moundfuffar PO Badouli Tehisl & PS Rajgarh, who is serving as Civil Foreman AC&NC Company. He was immediately shifted to CH Rohru and died during treatment. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar (Jubbal).
9.    NEGLIGENT CONDUCT WITH RESPECT TO FIRE: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 04.02.2018 U/S 285 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jitender Sharma S/O Sh. Madan Lal Sharma R/O Vill Lalsa PO Dansa Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 04.02.2018, he was doing some work in his garden at Tunan (Lalsa) and Sh. Jyoti Prakash was also doing some work in his garden and burnt the fire. Suddenly, the fire broke out nearby the orchard and destroyed  50 apple plants of Jitender Sharma, 100 apple Plant of Mahar Chand & 60 apple plants of Kushla Nand and grass of Dev Raj, Dharm Dev,Gain Sharma and Aagar Ram. 
10.  A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 15/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 04.02.2018 U/S 448 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish S/o Sh. Babu Ram R/o Village Bokru PO & Tehsil Chawari District Chamba A/P running a shop on Jeori-Sarahan road alleging therein that on 04.02.2018, his house owner Bahadur Singh R/o Village & PO Jeori, Shimla criminally trespassed in his rented shop and throwout all the items/articles from his shop.
11. During last 24 hours 294 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 202, fine realized Rs. 84,100/- and 13 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,400/-.

FIRE INCIDENT
  1. On  04.02.2018 at about 04-15 PM, a fire incident took place in the house of  Sh. Nagru S/O Lt. Sh. Fedru Ram R/O Lambakhatal PO Samoli The Rohru Distt Shimla, due to electric short circuit, in the jurisdictions of PS Rohru. In this incident, above house along with all household articles burnt completely, due to fire. The approximate value of destroyed property is Rs. 4/5 Lacs.

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 03.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath, Incharge PP Tikker, Rohru alleging therein that on 03.02.2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling at Kali Bazar. At about 02-00 PM, on the secret information one person namely Lal Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Jiwag PO Mushkoti Tehsil Khang District Rukkam, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P C/o Bahadur Singh R/o Tikker Tehsil Rohru, Shimla intercepted by them and recovered 260 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath, I/C PP Tikker, Rohru.
2.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 28/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on  03.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Mehar Singh, I/O PP Summer Hill Shimla alleging therein that on 03.02.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Mohd. Jameer Akhtar S/o Sh. Abdul Latif R/o Village Nauranga PO Varsughat PS Ajam Nagar Distt. Kathiar Bihar, age 28 years intercepted by them at Lower Summer Hill and during the search, 151 gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Mehar Singh, I/O PP Summer Hill.
3.  THE PUBLIC GAMBLING: Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 03.02.2018 U/S 13(A) The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Jawant, I/C PP Jalog, Sunni alleging therein that on 03.02.2018 at about 06-05 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, four persons namely Devi Dutt, Ramesh Kumar, Dhani Ram & Atma Ram apprehended by them during playing gambling with card on the public place near Dhanodhar Karyali and recovered Rs. 6,000/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Jaswant, I/C PP Jalog, Sunni. 
4.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 21/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 03.02.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Village Chamain PO Kalbog Tehsil Kotkhai Shimla stated therein that on 03.02.2018, he alongwith his daughter Disha, Padam Singh, Kamla Devi was going to Kotkhai from Shimla in his vehicle No. HP09C-0618. At about 02-15 PM, when they reached at Lambidhar, at the same time a vehicle No. HP09A-5162 driven by Suman S/o Sh. Jiya Lal R/o Village Gathinagar PO Ratnadi Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving from Fagu side and hit with his vehicle. In this accident, they all sustained injuries.       
5.  A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 15/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 03.02.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Sh. Gian Singh Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Mathu Ram R/o Village Shirguli PO Parala Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla A/P serving as Range Officer, Chambi Range, Sarain, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 01.02.2018 at about 06-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff he recovered 18 logs of Deodar on the road side at Delmu U.P.F. The case is being investigated by HC Rohit Bhardwaj, I/O PS Chopal.
6.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 20/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 03.02.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ravinder Chandel R/o Village Rauni PO Matyana Tehsil & PS Theog Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 01/02.08.2018, some unknown person has stolen away all the four tyres of his car No. HP09C-5140, parked on National Highway above his house. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/C PP Matyana (Theog).
7.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East today on 04.02.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Kumar R/o House No. 146 Govind Bihar Baltana Zirakpur, Distt. Mohali Punjab A/P C/o Ram Shankar Niwas Lower Shanan Malyana, Shimla, age 32 years stated therein that on 02.02.2018, he was going towards Malyana from Khalini in his Motorcycle No. HR03M-4064. At about 11-40 AM, as he reached near Keshu Dhaba, at the same time a vehicle No. HP52C-0200 came rashly with negligent driving and after hit his motorcycle, run away from the spot. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The case is  being investigated by HC Mahesh, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.
8.  A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 17/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 03.02.2018 U/S 406, 420 IPC on the complaint of Rahul  Singh, Prop. Neel Infrastructure House No.25 I.A.S. Colony Panthaghati Shimla-9 alleging therein that C&C Construction ltd. Who has been awarded construction of road between Theog to Rohru, asked him to complete the cutting work of road as sub contractor. After completion of the work he requested Sh. Tarun Prasad, project manager of the company to settle account with him. But company showed measurement of hill cutting much less the actual work done by him. When the company fail to settle the exact quantity of hill cutting done by him. He obtained the actual quantity of measurement under RTI act from HPRIDC Ltd. Nirman Bhawan Nigam Bihar Shimla-2 and he found significant difference between measurement of hill cutting quantity raised by the company with department and the measurement for which he was paid though the cutting done by him was same. Company also manipulated and fabricated the record with the intention to cause wrongful loss to him and obtained wrongfully gain to itself. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop I/O PS Rohru.
9. During last 24 hours 294 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 202, fine realized Rs. 84,100/- and 13 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,400/-.

Crime Report on Feb. 03, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 02.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Raghubir Singh, Incharge, PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.02.2018 at about 03-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Sandeep Chauhan S/o Sh. Pratap Singh Chauhan R/o Village & PO Bholar Tehsil & PS Jubbal, Shimla, age 34 years intercepted by them on Kasumpti Bazar-Parimahal road and recovered 39 gram Charas from his possession.   The case is being investigated by SI Raghubir Singh, Incharge, PP Kasumpti, Shimla.
2.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 19/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 03.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sunny Bodh, I/O PP Fagu, Theog alleging therein that today on 03.02.2018 at about 09-10 AM, during Nakabandi/Checking duty near Deha, a vehicle No. HR37C-6829 alongwith three persons namely Vinod Kumar (driver) S/o Sh. The above accused have been arrested by the police the case is being investigated by HC Sunny Bodh, I/O PP Fagu, Theog.   
3.    Case FIR No. 27/18 Dt. 02.02.18 U/S 302 201 IPC PS Shimla West has been registered on the statement of Sh. Mohan Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Bhaj R/o Village Sheelgaon PO Anandpur Tehsil & District Shimla A/P serving as Mechanic in HRTC Dhalli stated therein that on 02.02.2018, his uncle Bhoop Ram informed him that an accident was occurred near Sheelgaon. On this information he alongwith another villager went towards spot and found that a vehicle No. HP71-7005 (Truck) was in start condition and front tyre was out of road. There was lots of blood spread on the road, which was covered with soil and one person was found dead below the road. When they alongwith Police searched the spot, one another deadbody was found below 50 meters from the road. Above dead bodies have been identified as Naveen Chander S/o Sh. Deep Chand R/o Village Gadabudi, PO Shambhuwala, Teshil Nahan, Distt. Sirmaur, age 32 years and Chander Pal S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand R/o Village Tirmali, PO & Tehsil Dadahu, Distt. Sirmaur, age 22 years. After inspection the spot, it seems that some unknown person has killed both of them and have tried to hide the evidence from the spot. The case is being investigated by Insp. Dinesh Kumar, SHO PS West.

Crime Report on Feb. 02, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 19/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 01.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Bhupinder Singh, I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 01.02.2018 at about 05-00 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking alongwith staff one person namely Kapil S/o Sh. Raja Ram R/o Kalwa, Teshil Safido PS Pilukheda District Jind, Haryana, age 37 years intercepted by them near Sainj Nalah and recovered 397 gram Charas from his possession. The accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Bhupinder Singh, I/O PS Kumarsain.  
2.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 01.02.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Bir Singh I/O PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 01.02.2018 at about 12-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Hawa Mahal Jhakri, one person namely Subhash Thakur  S/o Sh. Mohan Singh Thakur R/o Village Chalach PO Dohar PS Anni District Kullu, age 23 years, intercepted by them and recovered 58.12 gram Charas from his possession. The accused has been released by issuing the Notice  U/S 41-A Cr.PC and  the case is being investigated by ASI Bir Singh, I/O PS Jhakri.
3.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 01.02.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Ranta S/o Sh. Krishan Singh Ranta R/o Chintpurni Niwas Khalini, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of  30/31.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away his Maruti Car No. HP08A-0687 parked near HP PWD Rest House at Jalog. The case is being investigated by ASI Jaswant, I/O PP Jalog.
4.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 20/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on  02.02.2018  U/S 379,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ami Chand Khachi  S/o Sh. R.P. Khachi R/o Village Mandoli PO & Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today on 02.02.2018 at about 03:30 AM, four boys namely Balwant S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Ward No.-3, Main Bazaar Rampur Distt Shimla aged 18 yrs, Ishaan S/o Sh. Khaleel Ahmed R/o Village Khaneri Rampur Distt Shimla, aged 20 yrs, Bipin Gupta S/o Sh. Baaljee Gupta R/o Rampur Distt Shimla aged 19 yrs. alongwith one minor boy, caught red handed while they were stealing petrol from his car No. HP62-2407 & another A/F Alto Car and recovered 11 liters Petrol, knife & cutter from their possession. All the above four accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Ram Sain, I/O PS Kumarsain.
5.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 11/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East today on 02.02.2018 U/S 379, 427 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Kumar R/o Village Androli, PO Ganagughat Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan alleging therein that on the intervening night of 01/02.02.2018, some unknown person has stolen away four tyres of his vehicle No. HP06-0985, parked near Petrol Pump at Vikasnagar, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil, I/O PAR Vikas Nagar.
6.    During last 24 hours 445 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 253, fine realized Rs. 1,04,100/- and 56 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,600/-.

Crime Report on Feb. 01, 2018

  1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 18/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 31.01.2018 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Kumari Jamuna Devi D/O Sh. Heera Singh R/O Danewata PO Delath Sub. Tehsil  Nankhari Distt. Shimla stated therein that one Bolero No. HP06A-8929 met with an accident at Barubag near Narkanda & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligence driving of Jishaan S/O Kundan Singh R/O Runpu PO Kinnu Tehsil Rampur. Total 8 Nos. of passengers were travelling in this Bolero. In this accident, two persons namely Shanti Swaroop and Mamta Devi died on the spot and six another sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Guleria I/C PP Narkanda.
  2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 18/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 31.01.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village Sandhu Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 31.01.2018, an unknown vehicle hit a person namely  Anil Kumar near Grameen Bank, Sandhu & run away from the spot, caused sustained head injuries to him.
  3. During last 24 hours 325 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 124, fine realized Rs. 48,100/-, 24 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,400/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.
