Crime Report on Dec. 14, 2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 290/16 has been registered at PS West on 13.12.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mohan, I/O PP Jutough, Shimla stated therein that on 13.12.2016, he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi duty at Yadgar near Totu. At about 09-00 PM, one vehicle No. HP-15-2121 (Omini) alongwith two persons namely Lal Singh (Driver) & Prashar Shamra intercepted by them and recovered 16 Boxes of Country Liquor marka Una No.-1, from the Dicky of above vehicle under their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutough.  

2. A Burglary case FIR No. 268/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 13.12.2016 U/S 457, 380 IPC  on the statement of Smt. Sushila Sharma alleging therein that in between 07.12.2016 to 13.12.2016, some unknown person has broken the door lock of her house and stolen away her gold jewellery and cash Rs. 20,000/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. A Fire Incident case FIR No. 230/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 13..12.2016 U/S 285 IPC on the application of Sh. Morar Kant S/o Sh. Hari Nand R/o Village Lamanad Lalsa, PO Dansa, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that on 24.11.2016, Smt. Sheela Devi burnt bushes in her fields. Due to her negligence, fire spread in the fields of villagers and destroyed their small apple trees. The case is being investigated by HC Narjeev Kumar, I/O PS Rampur. 

4. A Forest Act case FIR No. 72/16 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 14.12.2016 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41,42 IF Act on the Ruka of HHC Hari Sing I/O PP Pulbahal, Chopal alleging therein that on the intervening night of 13/14.12.2016 during Nakabandi at Pulbahal, a vehicle No. HP16-7361 (Mahindra Pick-Up)  alongwith two persons namely Ram Gopal S/O Basti Ram R/O Sayarla  PO Bhujal Tehsil Rajhgarh Distt. Sirmour & Ramesh Chand  S/O Lachmi Ram R/O Ghalana PO Kuthar Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla, which was coming from Thundal to Pulbahal, intercepted by them and recovered 15 Logs of Deodar from the above vehicle under their possession. Above accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh, I/O PS Chopal.

5. During last 24 hours 362 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 127 & fine realized Rs. 41,500/-, 85 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 8,500 and 01 challaned under Mining Act.

Crime Report on Dec. 13, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 123/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 12.12.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kiran Mehta S/o Sh. Subhash R/o Village Dhara PO Bachhunch Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla state therein that on 12.12.2016, a vehicle No. HP-10A-9541 (Swift Car) on the way from towards Kui, met with an accident  near village Dhara due to rash & negligent driving of Sandeep Chand S/o Sh. Sandheer Singh R/o Barara, Tehsil Rohru and rolled down from the road, caused sustained injuries to 03 persons Sandeep Chand, Ambika Negi- age 26 years & Sagar- age 11 years. The case is being investigated by Si Mohan Sainj, I/O PS Rohru.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 384/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 12.12.2016 U/S 279, 352 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Sanjay Sood R/o D-16, Lane # Sector-1, New Shimla stated therein that on 12.12.2016 at about 08-35PM, a vehicle No. HP-03D-0652 came rashly in wrong direction and hit with his vehicle. When he asked,  driver of above vehicle who was in drunken condition, beaten him and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ravidner, I/O PS Sadar.  

3. A Cheating case FIR No. 382/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 12.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kunal Tuli & Smt. Savita Tuli R/o 62 The Mall, Top Floor, Shimla & 444/3 Sidhowal Lodge, Lower Jakhu Shimla stated therein that on 02.05.2016, they have applied to purchase 3BHK & 2BHK apartments in NCR Delhi through the Directors of Jai Prakash Associates Ltd. & Jaypee Infratech Ltd. Noida and made payments of Rs. 75,29,838/- & 48,10,288/- respectively through Bank. But the above firms are not provided apartments to them till now & cheated them. The case is being Insp. Gauri Dutt, PL Kaihtu, Shimla.

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 383/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 12.12.2016 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Chunni Lal S/o SH. Bishan Dass R/o Village Limda, PO Todsa, Tehsil & PS Chirgaon, Shimla age 30 years stated therein that on 11.12.2016 at about 10-00 PM, he parked his vehicle No. HP-51T-9232 (Trax) on roadside near Greenland Hotel Lakkar Bazar, Shimla where another taxi No. HP-01A-4370 already parked. After that when he was going to home, at the same time driver of above vehicle alongwith his friends obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Nazeer Ahmad, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5. A Burglary case FIR No. 124/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 13.12.2016 U/S 457, 380  IPC on the statement of Sh. Sheesh Ram S/o Late Sh. Basu Dev R/o Village Bankot PO Dinchali Tehsil Chinyali Soud Distt. Uttarkashi (U.A.) A/p Pujari in Shiv Mandir Piun Seri Rohru Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that on the intervening night of 12/13.12.2016, some unknown person has stolen two Silver Chhatra and cash Rs. 10,000/- from Shiv Mandir Rohru. The case is being investigated by ASI Balraj Singh I/O PS Rohru.

1. An Accident case FIR No. 144/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 10.12.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ganga Ram S/o Sh. Amar Dass R/o Village Balasi, PO Nirmand, Distt. Kullu alleging therein that on 10.12.2016, he alongwith Gaurav & Kapil was coming to Dutt Nagar from Shimla in vehicle No. HP-30-2751. At about 06-20 PM, when they reached near Koteshwar Temple at Kumarsain, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Kapil S/o Sh. Maan Dutt R/o Village & PO Shiwan, Kumarsain & rolled down from the road, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by L/HC Sita, I/O PS Kumarsain.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 101/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 11.12.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupinder Singh S/o Sh. Vijay Singh R/o village Khalai PO Ghasni Teshil Rohru Distt. Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 10/11.12.2016 he was coming from Chandigarh to Kotkhai. At about 12-00AM, when he reached at Kokunala Patrol Pump near Kotkhai, at the same time a Motorcycle came rashly from Kotkhai side and met with an accident at Kokunala Patrol Pump, caused sustained injuries to two persons namely Ram Bahadur (Rider) and Karan Bahadur.  The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I.O PS Kotkhai.

3. Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 61/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 11.12.2016 U/S 341, 323, 336, 337, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ravinder Sharma S/O Sh. Laiq Ram Sharma R/o Village & PO Tharoch Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla alleging therein that  today on 11.12.2016 at about 12.15 PM, when he alongwith his brother Rajinder Singh coming back to home and reached near their house, at the same time two persons namely Sohan Lal & Krishan S/O Het Ram R/o Village & PO Tharoch Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla obstruct their way and beaten them. Sohan Lal also pelting stone on him, caused sustained head injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Sharifodeen, I/O PS Nerwa

Inquest Report

1. during last night Deceased Sukh Dass S/o Lt. Sh. Ganu Ram R/o Village Matasa, PO Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, age 52 years has been died due to fell down on the road at Jharag, in the jurisdiction of PS Jubbal. After autopsy at CH Jubbal, deadbody handed over to his relatives for cremation.

Crime Report on Dec. 09, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 60/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 09.12.2016 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Insp. Narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa alleging therein that today on 09.12.2016 at about 03-45 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking duty alongwith staff, one person namely Subhesh Kumar S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Khaddar, PO Nakorapul, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 28 years intercepted by them at Rana Kyar near Nerwa and recovered 05 bottles of Correx (Restricted Medicine) 100ml each from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by SHO PS Nerwa.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 100/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 08.12.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Lokesh S/o Ganga Ram R/o Vill Nahal P.O Jar Teshil Kumarsain  Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 08.12.2016 at about 05-30 PM, a Car No. HP-14-6872 met with an accident near Bagra Kotkhai due to rash & negligent driving of Ajay Nanda S/o Devi Nanda R/o Panog Teshil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet singh I/O PS Kotkhai.

3. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No 228/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 08.12.2016 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Singh S/O Shau Ram R/O Vill. Majhali PO. Deothi Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging  therein that on 08.12.2016 at about 05.30PM, he was going to home along with his elder brother namely Shyam Singh. On the way near Serigarh Nala,  Charan Dass and his son Akshay Kumar obstructed their way, abused and beaten them brutally. The case is being Investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh, I/C PP Tecklech.

4. A Fire Incident case FIR No. 77/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 09.12.2016 U/S 285 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sher Singh A/P Forest Guard, Diswani Beat, Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 08.12.2016, some unknown person has set a fire in forest land at Lakadhar and destroyed the plants in10 Hq. area. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak, I/O PS Chirgaon.

5. A Cheating case FIR No. 121/16 has been registered at PS East on 08.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the application of Sh. Saran Dass Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Leela Dutt Sharma R/o Village Ghillu, PO Beolia, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he have owned 09 policies from Birla Life Insurance Company, Branch at Sanjauli Shimla in the year of 2012. Due to policy conditions, he lodged a case against above Insurance Co. which is pending trial in the Ld. Court.  In July 2016, he received a call from Mobile No. 96253247766 who introduced himself as Mr. Narender Singh working as Zonal Head in IMGSN and told him that the amount of his above Policies now Rs. 42 lacs and demanded money as charging fee to release the above amount. He deposited Rs. 4,75,700/- in different account numbers provided by him, but the above person does not provide above amount and cheated with him. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sen Negi, SHO PS East.

6. A Theft case FIR No. 150/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla today on 09.12.2016 U/S 341, 323, 382, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Pritam Thakur S/o SH. Sant Ram R/o Village Karaiyan, PO Kasumpti, Shimla, age 30 years stated therein that he is driver by profession. On 08.12.2016 at about 10-30 PM, he was going to home from BCS Shimla in his car No. HP-62-0664. On the way near BCS Shimla, A Bolero vehicle stopped his way and one Cheenu S/o Sh. Anil R/o Sector-4, New Shimla alongwith his friend came out from the vehicle, beaten him brutally and snatched his mobile and cash Rs. 15,000/- from his pocket. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajwinder, I/O PS New Shimla.
