Crime Report on Dec. 07, 2016

1. An Arms Act case FIR No. 148/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 06.12.2016 U/S 25,27-54-59 Arms Act on the rukka fo SI Shyam Tomar, I/O PS New Shimla stated therein that during investigation of case FIR No. 147/16 U/S 306, 34 IPC, it has come to notice that Deceased Nitin Chauhan has committed suicide by shoot himself with unlicenced weapon (pistol). The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar, I/O PS New Shimla.

2. During last 24 hours 417 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 174 & fine realized Rs. 61,200/- & 48 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs.          4,900/-.

1. Deceased Deep Nepali C/o Sh. Sandeep Negi R/o Village Bahalidhar, PO Chilada, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, age 30 years, who was suffering from fever for the last 2/3 days, has been died. After autopsy at CHC Chirgaon, dead body handed over to his relatives for cremation.

Crime Report on Dec. 06, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 381/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on  05.12.16 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Virender, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla stated therein that on 05.12.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Chaiya Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Dina Ram R/o Down Dale Phagali, Shimla, age 45 years, intercepted by them near Rivoli Theatre, Shimla and recovered 10 gram Smack/Heroin from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Virender, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla. 

2. An Accident case FIR No. 143/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 05.12.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement  of SH. Jagdish Chand S/o Sh. Prem Chand R/o Village Punam, PO Nankhari, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 05.12.2016, he alongwith Mahender  Singh was going from Khekhar Nala to Bithal in Jeep No. HP06A-4074. At about 04-15 PM. when they reached at Arpu, at the same time a Motorcycle came rashly and hit with their jeep, caused sustained injuries to Motorcycle rider namely Laxman (Nepali) A/p residing at Sainj. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj.  

3. An Accident case FIR No. 71/16 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 06.12.2016 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/o Sh. Joban Dass R/o Village Ghyalat, PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 05.12.2016, a vehicle No. HP-08A-1609 (Maruti Car) met with an accident at Flauna due to rash & negligent driving of Pyare Lal & rolled down from the road. In this accident Pyare Lal died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS Chopal.  

4. A Mischief by Fire with the intention to damage case FIR No. 76/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 05.12.2016 U/S 435 IPC on the statement of Smt. Meera Devi W/o Sh. Videsh Kumar R/o Village Dhandarwari, PO & Tehsil Kwar, Shimla stated therein that on 01.12.2016, some unknown person has set a fire in stack of grass of Sh. Murti Lal R/o Village Dhanderwari  and destroyed it. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh.

5. A Criminal Breach of Trust case FIR No. 213/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 05.12.2016 U/S 406, 409 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kiran Kishore A/P Auditor in Khadi Aashram, Green Field Building, near Ice Skating Rink Shimla alleging therein that one MR. Ramesh Chand Verma S/o Sh. Devi Saran R/o Village Gadeog, PO Fagu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla A/P Posted as Manager Cum Salesman at Khadi Aashram Theog has prepared the foregery bill and intentionally misappropriated/embezzled the amounting to Rs. 8,76,829/- from Khadi Aashram at Theog. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/O PS Theog.

1. An Accident case FIR No. 212/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 04.12.2016 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Kathaal, PO Sandu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 04.12.2016 at about 01-00 PM, A Swift car  A/F met with an accident at Sandhu due to rash & negligent driving of Pradeep Kumar S/o Sh. Udham Singh R/o Krishna Gali Theog, age 28 years and rolled down 200 feet from the road. In this accident, one person namely Pankaj Lepta S/o Sh. Roshan Lal  Lepta R/o Village Kaila, PO Kiara, Theog, age 22 has been died and Pradeep Kumar (driver) sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.

2. A Burglary case FIR No. 379/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 04.12.2016 U/S 457, 380 IPC PS Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Mehta S/o Lt. Sh. Shiv Dutt Mehta R/o Nav Akkar Building, Bharari, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 03/04.12.2016, some unknown person has entered in his house by breaking window of bathroom and stolen away diamond/ gold jewellery, HP Laptop, Panasoni c LED TV, Canon SLR Camera, Binocular & 04 Nos of Pashmina shawls from room & biometric safe. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

Crime Report on Dec. 04, 2016

1. A Cheating case FIR No. 287/16 has been registered at PS West on 03.12.2016 U/S 420, 120B IPC & 66D Information Technology Act on the application of Sh. Sunil Grover A/P Chief Engineer (Electrical) HP State Electricity Board Ltd. Shimla stated therein that on 29.11.2016, some unknown person has hacked his e-mail account grovers_in@yahoo.com and cheating with peoples by demanded Rs. one lacs for the surgery of his cousin by creating the same/fake e-mail ID i.e. grover_in@hotmail.com. The case is being investigated by Insp. Sanjeev Kumar, SHO PS West.

2. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 119/16 has been registered at PS East on 03.12.2016 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the report of Sh. Uma Nand S/o Lt. Sh. Malak Ram R/o Village Bhad, PO Anandpur, Distt. Shimla, age 42 years stated therein that on 03.12.2016, when he was going to home, on the way two persons namely Gagan prakash S/o Sh. Amar Chand and Rinku S/o Sh. An Excise Act case FIR No. 96/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai On 02.12.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 02.12.2016,, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Khaltunala. On the secret Information, they recovered 03 Bottles of country liquor Marka Patiyala Rasbhari Orange from the Shop of Smt. Tara Devi W/o Sh. Ved Prakash R/O Village Ram Nagar, PO Kuinal, Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla. The Case is being Investigated by SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai.

An Excise Act case FIR No. 97/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 02.12.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ranjeet Sing, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 02.12.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Khaltunala, Ram Nagar (Kuinal), at about 05:30 PM one person namely Vijay Sharma R/o village RamNagar PO Kuinal Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla intercepted by them at Khaltunala and recovered 10 bottles of country liquor Marka Patiyala Rasbhari Orange from his possession. An Excise Act case FIR No. 98/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 02.12.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 02.12.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling and traffic checking duty towards Gumma, Hulli.  At About 10:45 PM A  Pick-Up alongwith two persons namely Jitender Negi (Driver) S/O Nek Ram Negi R/o Nagail P.O chailla Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla & Shyam Lal S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Village Baghi Nala, PO Devgarh Tehsil Kotkhai Distt.Shimla, on the way towards Chhaila, intercepted by them and  recovered 168 bottles of country liquor Marka Rangar Orange their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Deep chand , I/O PS Kotkhai.

An Accident case FIR No. 227/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 02.12.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Khaidi Ram I/C TTR Rampur alleging therein that on 02.12.2016,  a vehicle No. HR-99-WB-TEMP-0809 (Ford) met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Prithavi Raj & rolled down 100 meters from NH-5 into Satluj river. In this accident, Anil Kumar S/O Sh. Prithvi Raj and his wife Smt. Sushma & daughter Nidhi R/O Village & PO Ladva Tehsil Kurukshetra Distt. Haryana sustained injuries and shifted to MGMSC Khaneri for treatment. The case is being investigated by ASI Khaidi Ram, I/C TTR Rampur.

5. A Forest Act case FIR No. 99/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 03.12.2016 U/S 379 IPC & 41, 42 Indian Forest Act on the rukka Of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on the intervening night of 02/03.12.2016, he along with staff on patrolling/Nakabandi duty near Ram Nagar. During Nakabandi,  A vehicle  No. HP-63-1137 driven by Devinder Singh S/O Krishan Lal R/O village Meleth  Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla (H.P), on the way from Kuinal To Khaltunala, intercepted by them and recovered 10 logs of Devdar tree from the above Pick-up under his possession. The case is being investigate by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai. 

6. A Rioting case FIR No. 238/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 03.12.2016 U/S 147, 149, 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Balvinder Sing S/o Sh. Pritam Singh R/o Village Takreyan, PO Junga, Distt. Shimla, age 20 years stated therein that on 02.12.2016, he alongwith his friends was going to attend the marriage at village Khadki. At about 07-30 PM, when they reached near Nagari Road, at the same time seven persons namely Trilok, Jai Singh, Sunny,  Nitin, Sanjeev Thakur, Rajesh & Atul came there and beaten them brutally with wooden stick. The case is being investigated by HC Virender, I/O PP Junga.

7. A Trespass case FIR No. 239/16 has been registered at PP Dhalli today on 03.12.2016 U/S 451, 323, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Amit Singh S/o Sh. Mahender Singh R/o Village Tarapur, PO Mashobra, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 35 years stated therein that today on 03.12.2016 at about 06-00 PM, one person namely Naresh Kumar criminally trespassed in his shop and beaten him brutally. Thereafter, when he alongwith his family members was going to PP Mashobra to lodge the complaint, on the way near Mashobra Power House, Naresh Kumar, Ganesh alongwith their friends again beaten them brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh, I/C PP Mashobra.

Crime Report on Dec. 02, 2016

1. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 110/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 01.12.2016 U/S 13 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SHO PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 01.12.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling at Rehari Market Jhakri. At about 04-30 PM, on the secret information, three persons namely Maan Chand, Bhim Bahadur & Bhim Sen intercepted by them during playing gambling with cards & recovered Rs. 3490/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jhakri.

Patia Ram Verma R/o Village Bae, PO & Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on 01.12.2016 at about 03-30 PM, a Maruti Van No. HP-63-1905 driven by Lochan Singh S/o Sh. Bansi Ram R/o Village Nyadharta, PO & Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, came rashly and hit one person namely Paingi Ram R/o Village Jubbadu (Pansha), who has been died during treatment at CHC Kumarsain. The case is being investigated by HC Sita Devi, I/O PS Kumarsain.   

3. An Accident case FIR No. 69/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 01.12.2016 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Gian Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Rannu Ram R/o Village Kuddu, PO dhadi Rawat, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla stated therein that on 01.12.2016 at about 08-00 PM, one Trax No. HP-01A-2078 met with an accident in between Kashta & Ishali Pull due to rash & negligence driving of Ranveer Singh S/o Sh. Asharu Ram R/o Village Vaithara and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Sunder Singh,. I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.

A Burglary case FIR No. 286/16 has been registered at PS West on 01.12.2016 U/S 454 380 IPC on the application of Head Constable Sunil No. 14, 1^st IRBn Junga A/P PSO with Divisional Commissioner, Shimla stated therein that on 01.12.2016 at about 05-45 PM, after duty he came to his quarter Parmar Villa at Phagali in his Alto Car No. HP-63A-1446 & parked the above vehicle  near CPWD colony Park on the road Tutikandi to Khalini & locked the car properly. In the evening, when he come back & found that some unknown person has opened the door of his car and stolen away his Service Pistol alogwith 10 Rounds, a Wireless Set, a Track Suit, one Mobile Phone (Lava), two Mobile chargers & Shaving Kit. The case is being investigated by SI Ashish Semual, I/O PS West.

5. Used criminal force to  deter public servant discharge his duty case FIR 86/16 has been registered at PS Sunni on 01.12.2016 U/S 353, 332, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o SH. Surender Singh R/o Village Bhanthal, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, A/P Driver in HRTC Bus No. HP-25A-0856 age 32 years alleging therein that on 01.12.2016, he was on the route duty from Ropa to Shimla. At about 08-00 PM, he stopped the Bus at Basantpur for dinner. At the same time, four persons namely Kameshwar R/o village Shentvi, Pawan R/o village Tarour, Vicky R/o Village Kanguser & Sunny R/o Village Ramahan came out from the vehicle No. HP-07D-1224 (Santro Car) and scuffle with them. They have also beaten him & conductor Praveen Kumar brutally during discharging their govt. duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.  

6. An Attempt to Commit Suicide case FIR No. 122/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 02.12.2016 U/S 309 IPC on the statement of Smt. Pinki Devi W/o Sh. Pinku Ram R/o Village Bijauri, PO Seema, Tehsil & PS Rohru, Shimla stated therein that on 02.12.2016, she was coming from Makhinala to Rohru alongwith Pushpa. At about 07-45 PM, when they reached near Dr. Hans Raj Clinic Rohru, where Mohit S/o Sh. Panna Lal met with her and told her that he has consumed apple spray insecticide with intention to commit suicide. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru.

7. An Abetment to commit Suicide case FIR No. 147/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla today on 02.12.2016 U/S 306, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act on the statement of Sh. Joginder Singh Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Rama Nand Chauhan R/o Village Shalat, PO Kiari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla A/P House No. B-10, Lane- IV, Sector- 2, New Shimla stated therein that today morning when his wife went to serve tea to Nitin Chauhan, he did not found in his room. He along with his wife went outside to see to Nitin, they saw their Maruti Car No. HP51-2089 parked in the parking below their house. When they reached in the parking they saw the pool of blood outside the car and when they open the door of car and found that Nitin was  lying dead and bleeding from his head. They have also found suicide note in the car, in which he has written that he committed suicide due to mental harassment of his wife and in-laws.  The case is being investigated by SHO PS New Shimla.  

8. During last 24 hours 285 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 131 & fine realized Rs. 45,100/- & 69 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7,100/-.

Crime Report on Dec. 01, 2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 95/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 30.11.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 30.11.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Kadail (Himri). On the secret information, they recovered 10 Bottles of English liquor from the shop/house of Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Kadail, PO Himri, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 121/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 30.11.2016 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Saurav S/o Sh. Shiv Dyal R/o Village Melthi, PO Pujarli No. 2, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla stated therein that on 30.11.2016 at about 03-30 PM, a vehicle No. HP-09C-1110 (Maruti Car) met with an accident near Kalgaon Hospital due to rash & negligent driving of Rajeev S/o Sh. Jia Lal R/o Village Thali, PO Jangla, Chirgaon. In this accident, one person namey Rajeev (driver) died on the way to hospital and two persons namely Saurav & Prajul sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish, I/O PS Rohru.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 284/16 has been registered at PS West on 30.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manmohan Singh S/o Sh. Chander Pal R/o 7-62 Nagali Rajapur near Sarai Kalekaan, New Delhi stated therein that he is working as driver with Sidharth Bhalla for the last 2 years. On 30.11.2016, he alongwith Sh. Sidharth Bhalla was coming towards Shimla from New Delhi. At abour 12-15 PM, when they reached between Shoghi- Taradevi, at the same time a vehicle No. CH-01-BH-0455 came rashly in wrong direction and collide with his  vehicle, cuase sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay, I/O PS West.   

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 59/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 30.11.2016 U/S 341 323 IPC on the complaint of Shamim W/o Sh. Gulam Mohd. R/o Village & PO Kuthar, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that one person namely Ajaru @ Chhonu S/o Sh. Hanif R/o Village & PO Kuthar obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.
