PRESS NOTE 25.09.2016

1. A Gambling Act case FIR No 119/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 24.09.2016 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Ramsain I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 24.09.2016 during Patrolling at Kingal Bazar he recovered Rs 1900 from the six persons while they were playing gamble with playing cards. The case is being investigated by HC Ramsain I/O PS Kumarsain.

2. An Accident case FIR NO 226/16 has been registered at PS West today on 25.09.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Rishant Thakur S/o Sh Jagdish Chand R/o village Kot P/o Paploha Tehsil Jaduta Distt Bilaspur A/P Lakshami Niwas Near Dargah Chorqa Chowaki Distt Simla alleging therein that on 24.09.2016  he was going to Bilaspur suddenly a truck came rashly and hit him from back side . Due to this accident he sustained injuries.

3. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No 64/16 has been registered at PS Sunni on 24.09.2016 u/s 341,323,504,34 IPC on the application of Tek Chand S/o Lekh Ram  R/o  Jood P/o Chanawag Teh Sunni Distt Shimla age 32 years  alleging therein that  on dated 23.09.2016  at about 6:30 PM when he was going  to his home from Chanawag then two persons came there and obstructed  his way and  beaten brutally they also threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kumar  I/O PS Sunni.

4. A Causing Death by negligence FIR NO 183/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24.09.2016 U/S 304A IPC on the statement of Kamla Devi D/o Sh. Udham Jour VPO Lipa Teh. Pooh Distt. Kinaur HP age years alleging therein that on 23.09.2016 at about 1.00 AM her sister Bimla Devi who was pregnant got labour pain & they brought her to MGMSC Khaneri for treatment. At MGMSC Khaneri in Emergency room doctor gave her preliminary treatment and told her that blood pressure of her sister was very high & he called Gynecologist for checkup that referred her to IGMC Shimla for further treatment and on way near Kumarsain she had died. This incident happened due to negligent act of the M/O MGMSC Khaneri. Case has been registered.

5. A Cheating case FIR No 97/16 has been registered at PS Rorhu on 24.09.2016 U/S 419,420,465,467 IPC on the complainant of Smt. Babita Nashintu Pradhan of GP Bhalara alleging therein that a person namely Vinod Kumar S/o Sh Prem Lal village Dokru P/o Rohal Tehsil Jhandutta Distt Bilaspur HP cheated him with an amount of rupee 2,80,000. She said this person contacted her impersonating himself as an agent of Su-Kam Company, which deals in the business of solar lights and told her telephonically that he was at Rohru on the behalf of company and delivering subsidized solar light in Panchyats and she believed him. She and other ward members collected the amount of 2,80,000 rupee form 56 villagers from their panchayat 5000 rupee from each person .and gave any receipt of money. The case is being investigated by SI Vikas Sharma Add/SHO PS Rorhu.

6. A Wrongful restraint case FIR No 62/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 25.09.2016 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh Bhadur Singh S/o Sh Bansi Lal R/o village Barsheel P/o Chirgaon Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla alleging Therein that today on 25.09.2016 two persons namely Chaman Lal and Ram Bhagat obstructed his way, beaten him brutally. They also threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak.

7. A Wrongful restraint case FIR No 63/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 25.09.2016 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Smt Ram pyariW/o Sh Chaman Lal  R/o village Barsheel P/o Chirgaon Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla alleging therein that today on 25.09.2016 some person namely Bhadur Singh, Sanjeev, Guru Dev  obstructed her way, beaten her brutally. They also threatened her with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak.

8. During last 24 hours 343 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 145 & fine realized Rs. 76,200/-, 06 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 600/-

 

Crime Report on Sep.24, 2016

1. A Theft case FIR No 182/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 23.09.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Nitesh Kumar S/O Jagat Mehta Village Panoli Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that he had parked his M/Cycle No HP 06-3767 on  NH-05 near Chuhabag on 20.09.2016  and on 21.09.2016 early in the morning he found his M/Cycle missing from there. He searched his M/Cycle nearby places but not found anywhere. On 23.09.2016 at about 4.00 PM when he was at College Gate Rampur Bsr he saw that one person namely Sunil Kumar was going towards Khaneri on his M/Cycle No HP-06-386. He doubts that Sunil Kumar has stolen away his M/Cycle No HP 06-3767 and hidden it somewhere.

2.            A Cheating case FIR No 274/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 23.09.2016 U/S 420, 468, 471, 120B IPC on the statement of Sh Ashok Sharma Principal IGMC Shimla alleging therein that on 03.09.2016 1^st round of counseling for MBA was conducted at IGMC Shimla and a person namely Arushi Singh D/o Sh Rajesh Chauhan had produced a disability certificate before counseling committee. But when this committee verified this certificate and found that this certificate was fraud. The case is being investigated by HC Shishpal I/O PS Sadar.

3.            A Rioting case FIR No 275/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 23.09.2016 U/S 148, 149, 323, 341 IPC on the statement of Nikhil Thakur S/o Sh Shiv Singh Thakur R/o village Ridka P/o Chaura Madan Tehsil and Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 23.09.2016 some activists of SFI namely Raman Tharta, Akash Palsera, Ankush, Gaurav Pista, Anuj and Mahesh Nagi obstructed his way and beaten him Brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.

4.            A Gambling Act case FIR No. 96/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 24.09.2015 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Tikkar alleged therein that when he alongwith staff on patrolling at Tikkar and found that Nine persons namely Mukesh Kumar S/O Sh. Jai Prakash R/O Khangta PO Tikkar Tehsil Rohru, Sanjeev Dutta S/O Roshan Lal R/O Kalgaon PO Pujarli No. 2 Tehsil Rohru, Prem Krishan S/O Krishan Lal R/O Dhanoti PO Samra Tehsil Rohru, Yash Pal Deshta S/O Pabbar Singh R/O Khangta PO Tikkar Tehsil Rohru, Naresh Kumar S/O Jai Prakash R/O Vill. Khagta Tehsil Rohru, Papu S/O Roshan Lal R/O Kupri Tehsil Rohru, Brij Lal S/O Gokal Ram R/O Bhagi Tehsil Kotkhai, Deep Ram S/O Kalag Ram R/O Bhagi Tehsil Kotkhai, Anuj Chauhan S/O Bihari Lal R/O Dhanoti Tehsil Rohru were playing gambling with cards and recovered Rs. 1,50,000/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Tikkar.

5.            During last 24 hours 284 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 133 & fine realized Rs. 47,900/-, 24 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,500/- & 1 person challaned under Mining Act & fine collected Rs. 10,000/-

   Fire Incident

   Today information received regarding fire incident at village Sadrara Tehsil Chopal. In which Smt. Geeta Devi resident of village Sadrara Tehsil Chopal alleging therein that she came back to her home at evening time  after feeding of cows, fire started inside of cowshed during the intervening night of 23/24.2016. In this incident two cows, two calves and one goat died inside the cowshed and store burnt completely.

SPECIAL NIGHT NAKABANDI ALL OVER SHIMLA ON 23.09.16

1In view of the current security scenario, Shimla Police organised Special Night Nakabandi w.e.f. 07 PM to 12 Midnight on 23.09.16 during which Nakas were placed at 28 Places all over the district. 1420 vehicles were searched, 6 Challans under Mining Act, 12 Challans under COTPA, 220 Challans under M.V. Act with a fine of 49,000/- were done and 4 vehicles were impounded during Nakabandi.

 

Crime Report On September 23, 2016.

1.    A Gambling Act case FIR No 97/16 has been registered at PS East on 22.09.2016 U/S 13-3-1867 Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Harish I/O PS East alleging therein that when he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Oakover he got an information from source, he recovered Rs 2770/- from the possession of four persons while they were play gamble with plying cards. The case is being investigated by HC Harish I/O PS East.

2.    An Excise Act Case FIR No 180/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on dated 22.09.16 U/S 39 HP Ex Act has been registred on the Rukka of ASI Chaman Lal I/C PP Nankhari stating therein that on dated 22/9/16 at about 6.30 PM when he was on patrolling along with staff near Kungal balti, on secret information raid has been conducted on the dhaba of Ramesh Chand Karam Dass R/O Kungal balti Rampur and recovered 10 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal IC PP Nankhari.

3. A Wrongful restraint case FIR No 225/16 has been registered at PS West on 22.09.16 U/S 3 HP Educational Institions (Prohibition of Ragging) Act 2009 & 341, 323 IPC on the statement of sh. Yogender S/O Sh. Dola Ram R/O Vill. Dhanota, PO Chawai, Tehsil Anni, Distt Kullu, HP student of LLB 1^st Sem. When he was stood outside his classroom a person namely Nand Lal @ Shourya alongwith his friends caught him and took him Near Toilet where they beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashwani Kumar I/O PS West.
4. An Accident case FIR No 161/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 23.09.2016 U/S 279,337,420 IPC on the Rukka of ASI Ram Singh I/C PP Fagu stated therein that today at 4.50 AM he got an information from PS Theog, that a motorcycle No. HP 77-1741 Hero Passion got accident at near Bhalku Road, vill. Chehr. On this he visited the spot and found that above motorcycle fell down app. 40 feet from the road. in this incident Sh. Gopal Sharma S/O Sh. Kali Ram R?O Vill. Dandi Bag, PO Khatnol, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla got injured. As per the R/C of above M/Cycle the actual No. is HP 12H-2190. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh I/O PS Theog.  
5. An Arms Act case FIR No 53/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 23.09.2016 U/S 336,337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mani Ram Ramseth Manager SBI Branch Jubbal stated that today at 11.30 AM his Bank Security Guard Pawan Kumar suddenly fired a bullet with Bank's Licenced Gun. In this incident Bank Security Guard Pawan Kumar sustained injury on rt. Hand & fingers. No any other loss has been reported. The case is being investigated by ASI Raj Kumar I/O PS Jubbal.

2.    Accused Pawan Kumar @ Nooni age 30 yrs S/O Sh. Harmesh Chand R/O Dhara NO. 32, Nr Labour Hostel Lalpani, Shimla was arrested in Case FIR NO. 256/16 dated 20.09.16 U/S 341, 354, 323, 504 IPC at PS Sadar on 22.09.16 and today on 23.0916 he has been bailed out by the ld court.

1. A Rioting case FIR No.95/16 has been registered at PS Rorhu on 21.09.2016 U/S 451,323,147,148,149,427 IPC on the statement of Sh  Avinash Chauhan S/o Sh. Jagdish  Chauhan R/o Baral P/.o Jharag Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla.  Alleging therein that he was working at Mahamaya Finace Sabzi Mandi Rohru suddenly 5/6 persons entered in his office and beaten him without any reason. In His office some persons namely Naresh C/o Suresh Hotel Rohru & 2 Micky S/o K.K R/o Bhautinala Rohru and Avinash Chauhan Sustained injuries. The case is being investighated Case ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru.
2. An Accident case FIR No 180/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 21.09.2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the Rukka of HC Narjeev Kumar alleging therein on 21.09.2016 one Car No HP06A-2177 Maruti Car met with an accident near Rajpura in which two persons sustained injuries and one person died on the way to Hospital. The case is being investigated by HC Narjeev Kumar I/O PS Rampur.  
3. A Cheating case FIR No 92/2016 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 21.09.2016 U/S 420,120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jia lal S/o Late Sh. Dalku Ram R/o village Kapti P/o Dhargaura Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP by the order of Ld Court of ACJM Rampur dated 19.09.2016 U/S 156(3) CrPc against Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Kali Dass, Sunku Ram S/o Late Sh.Saveer Dass, Dassu Devi D/o Late Sh. Saveer Dass, Sajhanti Devi W/o Late Sh. Saveer Dass & Kain Ram D/o Lt. Sh Saveer Dass five persons of village Dhargaura cheated him by selling land which they had already sold in year 2012. The case is being investigating by self SI/SHO PS Jhakri.
4. A Wrongful restraint case FIR No 59/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 21.09.16 U/S 323,341,506 IPC on the statement of  Baby W/o Sh. Keshav Ram R/O Duichi PO Larot Tehsil Chirgaon Distt. Shimla alleging therein that a person namely Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Balku Village Duichi Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla obstructed his way, beaten him brutally and also threatened him with dire consequences. The Case is being investigated by HC Balbir I/O PS Chirgaon.
5. A Cheating case FIR No 192/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on  U/S 420,467,468,471 on the Complaint of Sh Mohan Lal S/O Sh Hari Nand R/O Village Patandu PO Dharampur (Madhan) Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that some known person had taken the fraud loan amount Rs 72,000 on his name with his Fraud signature from Cooperative Society Basantpur in year 2015. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev I/C PP Mashobra.

   Fire Incident

   Today at about 3:45 AM an incident of fire took place of in the daily needs shop of Subash Bhardwaj S/o Sh Parama Nand Bhardwaj near Senior Secondary School Kumarsain. In This incident, shop is completely brunt.

Crime Report on Sept. 21, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 74/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 21.09.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act  on the statement of Sh. Vikas Thakur S/o Sh. Jagmohan R/o Village & PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla  stated therein that today he was talking with his friends on the road side near Gumma, at the same time a vehicle No. HP-62A-2150 came rashly from Kotkhai side, hit him & run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PS Kotkhai.      

2. An Accident case FIR No. 221/16 has been registered at PS West on 20.09.2016 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Ashwani Kumar S/o Sh. Veena Ram R/o Village Kupad, PO & Tehsil Joginder Nagar, Mandi A/P Conductor in HRTC Unit-2, New Shimla stated therein that on 20.09.2016, when he was going to ISBT cash counter to deposit the cash, at  the same time, a vehicle No. HP-52A-5508 came rashly & hit him and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O PS West.  

3. An Accident case FIR NO 224/16 has been registered at PS West today on 21.09.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on  the statement of Sh. Sachin Kumar S/o Sh. Sunil Dutt Sharma R/o Village & PO Bamta, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today a Motorcycle hit his aunt Smt. Anita Sharma while she was crossing the road at New Barrier near road leading to Chakkar, Shimla & run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS West.   

4. A Burglary case FIR No. 257/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 20.09.2016 U/S 454 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. G.D. Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. T.R. Sharma R/o 7 Sant Cottage, Bharari, Shimla stated therein that on 20.09.2016, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away cash Rs. 50,000/- from Almirah. The case is being investigated by SI Jasveer Singh, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5. A Theft case FIR No. 223/16 has been registered at PS West today on 21.09.2016 U/S 382 511 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dalip Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Prakash R/o Village Rawon, PO Saroon, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he is driver of Truck No. HP-64-1626. He was coming back from Kotkhai. On the way one person namely Dinesh took lift from him. Thereafter he saw on side mirror that a vehicle No. HP-64-4909 followed him. When they reached near Shoghi Bazar, two persons namely Sukh Ram & Achhar Singh came out from the above vehicle & asked Dinesh to throw the red pepper powder in his eyes and  they all try to snatched money from him. All accused have been arrested and the case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I/O PS West.   

6. A Wrongful Restraint & criminally intimidation case FIR No. 59/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 21.09.2016 U/S 341 323 506 IPC on the statement of Smt. Baby W/o Sh. Kesav Ram R/o Village Deothi, PO Laroti, Tehsil & PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 12-15 PM, her brother-in-law Sh. Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Balaku Ram obstructed her way, beater her brutally & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir, I/O PS Chirgaon.   

7. During last 24 hours 1022 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 242 & fine realized Rs. 90,200/-, 95 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7,330/- and 01 challaned Under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 4,500/-.

2. Accused i) Sukh Ram S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Kalene, PO Saprun, PS Sadar, Distt. Solan, age 40 years, ii) Achhar Singh S/o Sh. Chaman Lal R/o Village Tawana, Mahog, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, Age 34 years & iii) Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Nidiya Ram R/o Hawan Madechi, PO Hawan, Tehsil Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, age 38 years, arrested in case FIR No. 223/16 Dt. 21.09.16 U/S 382 511 34 IPC at PS West. Today they have been produced before Ld. Court, from where Accused Sukh Ram sent to Judicial custody  and Achhar Singh & Dinesh Kumar released on the bail.    

Crime Report on Sept. 20, 2016

1. A Forest Act  case FIR No. 118/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 19.09.2016 U/S 447 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the application of Sh. Tula Ram, Forest Range Officer, Kotgarh stated therein that five persons namely  Mangat Ram S/o Sh. Thisu Ram R/o Village Kot, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, Budhi Ram S/o Sh. Ruldu  R/o Village Patmani Mahal, Chet Ram S/o Sh. Jaggi Ram R/o village Kot, PO Shillaroo, Gian Chand S/o Sh. Bali Ram R/o Village Latiyana, PO Shillaroo and Sh. Atma Ram S/o Sh. Mani Ram Ro Village Manan have illegally enchroched about 10 bighas or more forest land & planted apples plants on this land.

2. A Theft  case FIR No. 160/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.09.2016 U/S 323 382 506 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Suman Kumar S/o Sh. Rattan R/o Rattan Niwas, Lower Cemetery Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that he was coming to Dhalli from Chunjar in his Pick-Up No. HP-63-3721 loaded with apple boxes. At about 12-30AM, when he reached near Gajedi Bypass, at the same time two unknown persons came there, beaten him brutally and taken away his vehicle alongwith apple boxes. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/O PS Theog.   

3. An Accident case FIR No. 248/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 19.09.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Devinder Kaith R/o Kaith Niwas Lower Kangnadhar, Phase-III, New Shimla stated therein that on 19.09.2016, after droping his son at Ganj Bazar when he reached at Himland, his son Sharad Kaith told him that a vehicle No. HP-63-3969 came rashly, hit him & run away from the spot, cause sustained injury to him. The case is being investigated by HC Sunil, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.    

4. During last 24 hours 471 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 181 & fine realized Rs. 55,000/-, 61 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,300/- and 02 challaned Under Mining Act.

1. Accused (1) Sushil Kumar S/O Daulat Ram R/O VPO Jharag Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla age 41 years and (2) Ravi Kumar S/O Sh. Bhag Singh R/O Vill. Bahal Arjun PO Chakyo Tehsil Badsar Distt. Hamirpur Age 31 years has been arrested by police and recovered 40 ltr. Diesel from their possession in case FIR No48/16 dated 17-09-2016 U/s 379 IPC  PS Jubbal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Segtu Ram, age 24 years & Megtu Ram, age 26 years (Both) sons of Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Village Kasha, PO Kashapat, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 178/16 Dt. 17.09.16 U/S 452, 323, 376D, 506 IPC at PS Rampur, are on police remand upto 23.09.2016.
