1. An assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 111/14 14 has registered at PS Dhalli on 04-08-2014 U/S 353,307 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagat Chand S/o SH. Bhulli Chand R/o Village- Chamaili, PO- Thaila, Tehsil & District- Shimla A/p T/mate O/o Electricity Sub-Division, Mashobra, Shimla alleged therein that on 04.08.2014 at about 10;45 AM he was on his duty at Mashobra. One Jitender Kumar S/o Sh. Joginder Singh alongwith another person came there and called him outside from his office. Where they beaten him and attack on his head with the intention to kill him.  The case is being investigated by ASI Manohar Lal, I/O PS Dhalli.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 57/14 has registered at PS Rohru on 04.08.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Smt. Mamta Bhimta W/o Sh. Kailash Bhimta R/o Village- Mandhol, Tehsil- Jubbal, District- Shimla, age-44 years alleged therein that she is working as a CHC at School Tandholi. After duty, when she was coming to her home by bus and reached at Mohali pull. From Mohali Pull she was going on foot to her home, suddenly one Pick-UP No. HP-10A-3289 came rashly from Rohru side & hit her and ran away from the spot. In this accident she got injuries.  The case is being investigated by  HHC Nanak Chnad, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla.

3.  An Accident Case FIR No 106/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 04.08.2014 U/S 279 IPC, on the complaint of Sh. Brij Lal Sankhyan (M.Sc. Mathematics Researcher) C/o Durga Provision Store Near Shiv Temple Sangti, Summer Hill Shimla alleged therein that on 26.06.2014, he was going from Old Bus Stand Shimla towards High Court through pedestrian path. When he reached near Deepak Ashish Trading Co.-Op. Pvt. Ltd., at the same time one vehicle No. HP-63C-0762 came rashly and hit him. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder No. 80, I/O PS Sadar.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 107/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 04.08.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vishal Prajapati S/o Lt. Sh. Lala Ram Prajapati R/o 111/14, Rail Vihar, LJA Colony, Sector-L, Ahsiana, Lakhnow, UP alleged therein that on 03.08.2014, he came to Shimla. On 04.08.2014, he parked his motorcycle No. DL-65-AJ-0835 at Private Parking at Rivoli Road and went to market to take breakfast. When he return back, he has not found his motorcycle there. When he asked from duty at parking, he told him that one person came their and taken his motorcycle. He searched his motorcycle  every place but didn't find it.   The case is being investigated by L/HC Yogeshwari, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 58/14 is register at PS Rohru today i.e. on 05.08.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Singh S/o Sh. Lal Singh R/o Village- Bankikot, District- Munsikot (Nepal) A/p Servant of Jagjit Singh Machhan R/o  Village & PO- Kuthara, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 05.08.2014, he was going to Devidhar alongwith his sister and waiting for bus at Bus Stand at Rohru.   At the same time on Motorcycle No. HR-03D-4583 came rashly and hit him. In this accident he got sustain injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal, I/O PS Rohru.

6. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 107/14 is register at PS Theog today i.e. on 05.08.14 U/S 20 ND&PS Act PS Theog Shimla on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Theog Shimla alleging therein that today on 05.08.2014, he along with staff were on patrolling duty towards Nangal Devi. At about 03:15 PM, when they reached near link road from Nangal Devi towards Janoti on NH-22, one person namely Mahender Khachi S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Villagle- Bajhevag, PO- Theog, District- Shimla intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 134 gms charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Theog Shimla.   

7. During last 24 hours 214 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 02 challan under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 43,500/-

2. Accused Abhishek Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o Village- Taleli, Tehsil- Sunder Nagar, Mandi in case FIR No.137/14 Dt. 01.08.2014 U/S 22 ND&PS Act  PS West. Further sent on judicial remand up to 05-08-2014.

3. Accused Ravi Sharma S/o Sh. Naval Kishore Sharma, Dimple Sharma D/o Sh. Naval Kishore Sharma, Naval Kishore S/o Sh. Baij Nath Shrma and Nisha Shrma W/o Sh. Naval Kishore Sharma R/o Prabhu Niwas Kangnadhar, Phase-III, New Shimla on interim bail till 11.08.2014 by Ld. Session Judge Shimla.

    

Crime Report 04 August 2014

1. A Burglary Case FIR No. 32/14 14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 03-08-2014 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the application of Sh. Bhanu Sharma S/o Sh. Surender Kumar Sharma R/o Village- Salogra, District- Solan, HP alleging therein that he is residing at Sector-2, House B-5, Lane-I, New Shimla. During the intervening night of 02/03.08.2014, some unknown person has stolen away 2 Laptop by breaking the lock of his room.  The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PS New Shimla.

2. A Theft case FIR No. 33/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 03.08.2014 U/S 379 IPC, that some unknown person has stolen away 100 amplifiers, cable wire around 10 KM area, 500 Tapps and Splitter from Benmore Chhota Shimla, Village- Parechi and Housing Board colony Sanajuli area.  The case is being investigated by SI Sanjeev, I/O PS New Shimla.

3.  An Accident Case FIR No 106/14 is registered at PS Theog on 04.08.2014 U/S 279,337,304-A IPC, on the statement of Sh. Subhash Kainthla S/o Sh. Durga Dutt R/o Village & PO- Narkanda, District- Shimla alleging therein that on 04.08.2014, he was going towards Narkanda from Shimla in his Pick-Up No. HP-63B-1025. At about 04-00 AM, when he reached at Devi More, one person stopped his vehicle and told him that he is going to Solan alongwith his maternal uncle in Pick-Up No.     HP-30-3473. When they reached at Devi More, driver Pankaj lost his control on the vehicle and fell down from the road. In this accident they have got sustain injuries and driver Pankaj Kumar has died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O Theog.   

4. During last 24 hours 120 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 01 challan under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 15,700/-

1. A ND&PS Case FIR No. 36/14 14 is registered at PS Nerwa i.e. on 02-08-2014 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI/SHO Jaswir Singh P.S. Nerwa alleging therein when he was on traffic Checking duty alongwith staff at Jhamaradi Barier at 2.00PM during checking he recovered 18 gms Charas from the driever namely Bale Ram S/O Lt Sh. Hari Chand Cast Dhanak S/C R/O VPO Dahar PS Ishrana, Distt Panipat, Haryana Truck NO. HR-56A-2877. Driver has been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by SI/SHO Jaswir Singh P.S. Nerwa.

A Cheating with dishonestly case FIR No. 139/14 is registered at PS West on 02.08.2014 U/S 409, 420, 465, 468,471, 477A, 120B IPC, on the order of Superintendent of Police, Prison, Himachal Pradesh alleging therein that sh. Rajender Singh Head Warder Sub-Jail Kaithu have produced fake bills of harpic, Phenyl, Soap, oil & Blades etc. in the name of M/S Sharma Provision Store, Upper Kaithu. These bills are entered by Warder Mahavir Singh. These bills were prepared by under trial prisoner Sh. Atul Thakur who has already committed these all. case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram P.S. West.

Alleged that when he was going to quarter in his own car no HP-01A-2187 when he reached at bifrircation Mashbra a truck No. HP07-3573 came rashly over tack my car and hit from driver side he got injuries in this incident. Case is being invested by HC Daljeet Singh No.122 I/O P.S Dhalli Shimla.

    

2. An Accident Case FIR No 105/14 is registered at PS Sadar i.e. on 2-8-2014 U/S 279,427 IPC & 187 MV Act, on the Complaint of Sh. Rajender Sharma S/O sh. Kanshi Ram Sharma R/O Vill. Bokala, PO Shilla, Tehsil Kamrau, Distt Sirmour presently HRTC Driver Division Workshop Taradevi, Shimla alleging therein that he is posted on Volvo Bus on root Shimla to Delhi. On 02.08.2014 at 9.30 PM he started with his Bus from Old Bus Stand Shimla To ISBT Tutikandi on approaching just outside the old Bus Stand at Rain Shelter, a BLENO Car NO. HP-63-5318 come from opposite side rashly & struck with his above Volvo Bus cause loss of Bumper & Head Light of driver side. Case is being investigated by HC Vinod No. 39, I/O P.S Sadar, Shimla.

    

3. An Accident Case FIR No 105/14 is registered at PS Theog on 03-08-2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of  Shyam Singh S/o Sh Hari DuttR/o Bhalach P.O Sriuan Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla alleging therein that one PIkup No HP 03-3897 fell down 200mtr.in to the Nala  from the  road side at Papu Dhaba near Davi Moredue to rash & negligent driving by Mr. Anil S/o Moti Ram R/o Jhnali  P.O Kyara Theog  only Driver Anil got injuries in this accident. Case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakesh I/O PS Theog .

An Excise Act Case FIR No 35/14 is registered at PS Kotkhai i.e. on 2-8-2014 U/S 39 of Excise Act on the Ruka of SI/SHO Gauri Dutt Sharma alleging therein that at 6.00 PM when he alongwith his staff was on patrolling towards Kiari, he recovered 12 no. of bottles of Country liquors marka Silver Orange illegally from the possession of Sh. Kharak Singh S/O sh. Dhan Bahadur Nepali R/O C/O Roshan Lal Vill. & PO Kiari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt Shimla. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO Gauri Dutt Sharma, P.S Kotkhai, Shimla.

1. A ND&PS case FIR No.137/14 is registered at PS West on 01.08.2014 U/S 22 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Mohan Lal I/O P.S. West Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2014, he alongwith staff were on patrolling duty towards Chaura Maidan Shimla. When they reached near Deepak Project, one person namely Abhishek Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o Village- Taleli, Tehsil- Sunder Nagar, Mandi intercepted by them. During search they recovered restricted medicine i.e. 8 small bottles of Rexcof sealed and 34 tablets of Nitrosun from his possession. Accused has been arrested and case is being investigating by ASI Mohan Lal I/O PS West Shimla.

A Burglary Case FIR No 60/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain today i.e. on 02-08-2014 U/S 457,380 IPC that during the intervening night of 1/2-08-2014 some unknown person has stolen away 3 Nokia Set, 4 set lava ,7 set Intex ,1 Set Champion , 8 set Arise mobile phone, one camera Kodak and one video Camera Sony by breaking the lock of his shop. The case is being investigating by ASI Brij Lal I/C PP Narkanda.

    

3. An Accident case FIR NO.138/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 02.08.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Jony Singh S/o Sh. Ajayeb Singh R/o Sunder Basti Sangroor PB presently driver of truck No. PB-13-Z- 4797 TATA 1109 alleging therein that   on today in the morning when he reached Sonu Bangla one pick-up no. HP- 63B-0553 came   rashly and hit his vehicle from driver side. The case is being investigating by HC Laiq Ram I/O PS West.

    

4. During last 24 hours 206 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 23,500/-

Today On 02-08-2014 during Traffic checking by Addl SP City & Dy SP City Shimla one vehicle Tata Indica bearing No.HP-63-5265 found  carrying some spare parts of Mobiles and other articles without bills Matter has taken up with Excise Deptt. and on the evaluation by excise deptt. fine Rs.5670/- to Sh. Naresh Kumar S/O Sh Payre Lal, and Fine Rs. 4650/- each to Sunil Verma S/O Sh. Jai Dyal R/O H.No. 137 Ram Bazar Shimla & Rajbir Singh S/O Sh. Suraj Ram. After that on the realization of all the goods and person have been released by excised Deptt.

    

6. Today on 02-08-2014 on the secret information Police has recovered 09 packet (216 pouch) Premium Gutkha from the possession of Sh Daya Shanker S/O Sh Ram Dayal R/O Riksha Building Auckland Shimla.  The matter has been taken up with drug Inspector.

1. Accused Moti Ram S/O Sh. Tej Bahadur R/O Village Jagat Khana Tehsil Nirmand PO Rampur has been arrested in case FIR No. 89/14 dated 31-07-2014 U/S 379 IPC PS Rampur. Today sent to Judicial custody.

2. Accused Abhishek Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o Village- Taleli, Tehsil- Sunder Nagar, Mandi in case FIR No.137/14 Dt. 01.08.2014 U/S 22 ND&PS Act  PS West. Further remanded in Police custody up to 04-08-2014.

A ND&PS case FIR No. 56/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 31.07.14 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Prakash Chand, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.07.2014, he along with staff were on patrolling duty towards Khorsu. During patrolling one person namely Rati Ram S/o Sh. Dhanku Ram R/o Village- Khorsu, Tehsil- Rohru, Shimla intercepted by them. During search, 14 gram charas has been recovered from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by HC Prakash Chand I/O PS Rohru.

2. A Damage to Public Property case FIR No. 58/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain on 31.07.2014 U/S 3 PDP Act on the complaint of Sh. Balbir Singh, Incharge of Petrol Pump at Kingal, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.07.2014, he was present in his office. At about 01:30 PM, one truck No. HP-35-2514 came rashly and hit the diesel machine and destroyed it. The cost of this machine is approximately Rs. 1, 00,000/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 104/14 is registered at PS Theog on 31.07.2014 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village- Nehra, PO- Jais, Tehsil- Theog, District- Shimla alleging therein that on 31.07.2014 at about 05:30 PM one Maruti Car No. HP-09C-2135 came rashly from Theog side and fell down approximately 200 feet from the road. 3 persons were sitting in this car, out of which one person died on the spot and 2 others were got injured. The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh, I/O PS Theog.   

4. An Accident case FIR No.136/14 is registered at PS West on 31.07.2014 U/S 279,337,201 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Vineet Sharma S/o Sh. Vidya Sagar Sharma  R/o Village- Kalbadi, PO- Nalti, PS- Bharari, Tehsil- Gumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur A/p Saroj Kunj Building Shiv Nagar Totu Shimla alleging therein that he was going to his friend's house at Phayal on his Motor cycle No. HP06A-5113. At about 06-45 PM when he reached near Sonu Bangla on NH-22, one Pick-Up No. HP-10B-4009 driven by Vajinder S/o Sh. Kamal Singh R/o Village- Kotikunna, PO- Teoni, Dehradoon, Uttrakhand came rashly in wrong side, hit his motorcycle and ran away from the spot. In this accident, he got injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.

5. A Burglary Case FIR No 104/14 is registered at PS Sadar today i.e. on 01.08.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC that today between 10.30 AM to 11.30 AM, some unknown person has entered in his house by breaking the door lock and stolen away 1 kg 500 gram old silver & cash Rs 43000/-. The Case is being investigated by SI Manoj Kumar I/O P.S Sadar Shimla .

6. An Accident case FIR No 59/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain today i.e. on 01.08.2014 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been Registered on the statement of Smt. Anju W/o Sh. Mangal Deep R/O Village- Oar, PO- Glani, Tehsil- Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today she was going to Shiwan School along with her children namely Mahima, Nikita and Kush in Tempoo Traveler No HP02A-2601. 30/31 children and passengers were also travelling in this vehicle. At about 08.45 AM when they reached near Patti Jubbar, driver Banarsi Dass lost the control from tempoo and rolled down from the Road. In this accident 20/25 Children & passengers have got sustains injuries and her daughter namely Mahima aged 10 year died at CHC Kumarsain during treatment. This accident took place due to Rash and Negligent Driving by the driver Bnarsi Dass. The Case is being Investigated by L/HC Sita,  I/O PS Kumarsain.

7. An Accident case FIR No. 92/14 is registered at PS East today i.e. on 01.08.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prem Lal S/O Budhi Ram R/O Village- Piplu Ghat, Tehsil- Arki Distt. Solan A/P Quarter, Brock Hurst Chhota Shimla alleging therein that today at about       07-20 AM when he was present outside of his quarter at Brock hurst Shimla. One school Bus No. HP63-6154, driven by Mani Ram, came rashly from Chhota Shimla and fell down from the road to house of Urmila Devi. The case is being investigated by HC Harish Kumar, I/O PS East Shimla.

8. During last 24 hours 174 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act & 04 challan under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 28,000/-

9. Follow-up

1. Accused Dinesh Sharma S/O Sh.Rameshwer Dass R/O Village Dhar PO Shakrah Tehsil & District Shimla  has  been arrested in Case FIR No.132/14 dated 30-07-2014 U/S 420, 465, 468 IPC PS  West Today released on bail.

2. Two accused namely Aminudeen S/o Sh.Misar Deen R/o Village Markanda PO Jukhala, District Bilaspur and Tahir Khan S/O Sh. Rasid Muhmad R/O Gajod PO Jukhala, District Bilaspur arrested in Case FIR No. 130/14 Dt. 27.07.14 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS West  today sent to Judicial custody.

3. Accused Moti Ram S/O Sh. Tej Bahadur R/O Village Jagat Khana Tehsil Nirmand PO Rampur has been arrested in case FIR No. 89/14 dated 31-07-2014 U/S 379 IPC PS Rampur. Remanded in Police custody up to 02-08-2014.
