CRIME REPORT 07 APRIL

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 35/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 06-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Harish Thakur S/o Sh. Hardyal Singh R/o VPO Duttnagar, Teh. Rampur, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a vehicle No. HP01A-3665 came rashly towards Jhakri & hit his vehicle No. HP09B-0567 near Mehta Craisher. In this incident six persons sustained injury. The Case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PS Rampur.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 36/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 07-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh.Jitender Singh S/o Sh. Partap Singh R/o Vill. Panail, PO Lailan, Sub Teh. Rampur, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a Truck No. HP11-1951 hit his vehicle No. HP06-4243 near Shaula Nankhari Road due to rash and negligent driving by Dinesh Kumar. The Case is being investigated by ASI Hari Singh, I/C PP Nankhari.

3. An Accident Case FIR No. 42/14 is registered at PS East on 06-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Attar Singh R/o Kashi Ram Building Lower Totu, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a vehicle No. HP63-4602 hit his vehicle near Panthaghati. In this incident one person got injured. The Case is being investigated by HC Om Parkash, I/O PP Vikasnagar.

4. An Accident Case FIR No. 48/14 is registered at PS West on 07-04-14 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjay Sood S/o late Sh. Manohar Lal R/o Sood Niwas D-16, Lane-II, Sec-1, New Shimla, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a bus No. HP51B- 0579 hit his vehicle No. HP13B-0600 & vehicle No. HP07B-2195 near Tutikandi. The Case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS West.

5. An Accident Case FIR No. 14/14 is registered at PS Jubbal on 07-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 185 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Panna Lal Sharma S/o late Sh. Man Singh R/o Vill. Pujarali, PO Mandal, Teh. Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a vehicle No. HP10A-2723 meet with an accident near Hatkoti due to rash and negligent driving by Jastan. The Case is being investigated by HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP S/Nagar.

6. During last 24 hours 149 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challan is Rs. 22,900/-.

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 38/14 is registered at PS Theog on 06-04-14 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Shayam Lal S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Vill. Bhalesh, PO Serven, Teh. Theog, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a vehicle No. HP06A-3771 met with an accident near Bhalech. In this incident two persons died on spot. The Case is being investigated by ASI Santokh Singh, I/O PS Theog.

2. A Case of Missing Minor Girls: Case FIR No. 21/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 06-04-14 U/S 370 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Nirmala, Incharge Kasturba Balika Ashram Durgapur, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 5-4-14 two minor girls namely Km. Puja D/o Sh. Anant Ram R/o Dhobighar, Kargil Colony Solan, age 14 years & Km. Asha D/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Karshali, Teh. Rohru, Distt. Shimla have run away from said Ashram without any information to the staff.  The Case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 13/14 is registered at PS Chopal on 03-04-14 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Smt. Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Gyaru Ram R/o Vill. Kothi, PO Malat, Teh. Chopal, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a vehicle No. HP03A-008 met with an accident near. In this incident driver Jagat Ram died on spot and one person got injured.  This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Jagat Ram. The Case is being investigated by HC Sohan Singh, I/O PP Kupvi.

2. A Theft Case FIR No. 60/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 04-04-14 U/S 379 IPC & 136 Electricity Act on the complaint of Sh. Roop Lal, Junior Engineer Elect. Section HPSEBL Koti, alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away Electrical Wire about 1800 Mtrs. near Kotlu. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 50,000/-. STOLEN PROPERTY HAS BEEN RECOVERED & TWO ACCUSED PERSONS ARRESTED. The Case is being investigated by ASI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Junga.

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 43/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 03-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC  & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Smt. Pooja Sharma W/o Sh. Dharmender Sharma R/o Shandil Niwas, Dev Nagar Kasumpti, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that when she reached near Gurudwara, a Motorcycle No. HP09C-2097 came from left side and hit her & ran away. In this incident she got injuries on her body. The Case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Sadar.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 20/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 02-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Vinod Kumar R/o VPO Sunni, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a car No. HP62-0099 met with an accident near 18/2. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Ram Dass Panwar. In this incident two persons got injured. The Case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.

3. An Accident Case FIR No. 39/14 is registered at PS East on 02-04-14 U/S  279, 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sandeep Chauhan S/o Sh. Ram Singh R/o Sunil Niwas BCS Shimla, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that when he was standing near Mehli to look after the wall work, a Motorcycle No. HP63-5929 came rashly and hit the vehicle Pickup No. HP63-0144. In this incident one girl, which is sitting got injured. The Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti.

A Cheating Case FIR No. 47/14 is registered at PS West on 02-04-14 U/S 420 IPC that on 2-6-2013 a person  received a phone call from Cell No. +9230648-84544 that he has got 25 lac lottery & told that he deposit Rs. 20,000/-. After some day he again deposited Rs. 20,000 & 30,000. On 5-7-13 to 28-10-13 he deposited Rs. 17,76,550 in different accounts.  The Case is being investigated by SI Madan Lal, Addl. SHO PS West.

An Excise Case FIR No. 38/14 is registered at PS East on 02-04-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Het Ram, I/O PS East that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Devnagar,  he recovered 36 bottles of Country Liquor Marka Una No.1 from the possession of Mahinder Shandil @ Anu S/o Sh. Ganga Dutt R/o Patti, PO Rajhana, Teh. & Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Het Ram, I/O PS East.

2. A ND&PS Case FIR No. 42/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 01-04-14 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Auckland, he recovered 78grms. charas from the possession of Bhupinder Singh S/o late Sh. Ratti Ram R/o Vill. Tikkar, PO Ghund, Teh. Theog, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

3. An Accident Case FIR No. 46/14 is registered at PS West on 02-04-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sohan Lal S/o Sh. Maru Ram R/o Vill. Muslyana Sahari near High School Dharampur, Teh. Kasauli, Distt. Solan, alleging therein a HRTC Bus No. HP63-3199 hit his vehicle No. HP14-6797 near Totu Chowk. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Bus driver namely Pawan Kumar. In this incident driver of bus & some passenger got injuries. The Case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar, I/C PP Jutog.

4. A Theft Case FIR No. 34/14 is registered at PS East on 02-04-14 U/S  379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajesh Kumar Jain S/o Sh. Ravinder Kumar C/o UCO Bank Kasumpti, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that he parked his vehicle bearing No. DL2CK-2378 near ATM of Corporation Bank, during intervening night 1/2.04.14 some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle. The Case is being investigated by ASI Ram Lal, I/C PP Kasumpti.

An Excise Case FIR No. 34/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagat Ram, I/C PP Taklech that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Taklech, he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Kamla Nand R/o Vill. Kukhi, PO Darkali, Teh. Rampur, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/C PP Taklech.

An Excise Case FIR No. 38/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Shere-e-Punjab, he recovered 4 bottles of English liquor from the possession of Vinay Sharma S/o Sh. Padam Dev R/o Vill. Pawar, PO Shoghi, Teh. & Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar.

An Excise Case FIR No. 39/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of PSI Deepak, I/O PS Sadar that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Meat Market Sabzi Mandi, he recovered 16 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Amar Singh C/o Madan Sharma, Kelti and Vir Bahadur C/o Susheel Chand Kelti,  Teh. & Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by PSI Deepak, I/O PS Sadar.

An Excise Case FIR No. 40/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Lakkar Bazar Bus Stand, he recovered 7 bottles of English liquor from the possession of Chunni Lal S/o Sh. Ratti Ram R/o Dummi,  Teh. & Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar.

An Excise Case FIR No. 19/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SHO PS Sunni that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Sunni Bazar, he recovered 12 bottles of English liquor from the possession of Gulab Singh S/o Sh. Hari Saran R/o Kinder, Teh. Sunder Nagar & Distt. Mandi. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Sunni.

An Excise Case FIR No. 10/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mahinder Singh , I/O PS New Shimla that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Himland, he recovered 17 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Prakash Thakur S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Vill. Gandar, PO Basantpur, Teh. Sunni, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Mahinder Singh , I/O PS New Shimla.

An Excise Case FIR No. 11/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 31-03-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS New Shimla that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Kanlog, he recovered 24 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Raghuvir Singh S/o Sh. Jaswant Singh R/o Sundar Building near Krishna Nagar, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS New Shimla.

A Burglary Case FIR No. 17/14 is registered at PS Nerwa on 01-04-14 U/S 457, 380 IPC that in the intervening night 31-3-14 some unknown person has broken the lock of shop and stolen away Silver jewelery 1 pair payal, 3 Chak & artificial jewelery amounting Rs. 5000/-.  The Case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.

A Burglary Case FIR No. 57/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 31-03-14 U/S 454, 380 IPC that some unknown person has broken the lock of door and stolen away one pair Kante Gold, one Mangal Sutra Gold, 2 Gold Kangan, 3 Gold Ring, Silver Chak, Silver Kangan, Silver Mangal Sutra, 4 pair payal, 2 Silver Ringh & cash Rs. 4000/-.  The Case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/C PP Mashobra.

A Theft Case FIR No. 58/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 01-04-14 U/S  379, 34, 427 IPC on the rukka of SHO PS Dhalli that when he was on patrolling/ night checking alongwith staff near Dhalli bifurcation,  he saw that two persons has stolen away petrol from vehicle No. HP62A-2629. When he interrogate him they disclosed their namely Vipan & Ashish Kumar.  The Case is being investigated by HC Narinder Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli.
