Crime Report 18 June 2014


  1. An Accident case FIR No. 25/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 17.06.2014 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Amandeep Singh Bhogal S/o Sh. Malkiyat Singh Bhogal R/o Prem Cottage, Lower Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that he is doing  B. Tech (Mechanical) course from Lovely Professional Institute. On 17.06.2014 at 09:45 AM he was going to Coaching Institute at Sector-I IELTS New Shimla. When he reached near BSNL office curb at New Shimla, at the same time vehicle No. PB-11-BF-8255 (Pick-up) came rashly, hit him and ran away from the spot. In this accident, he got injured. Case is being investigated by P/SI Rajneesh I/O PP New Shimla.

     

  2. A Cheating case FIR No. 39/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 17.06.2014 U/S 420 IPC.On 17.06.2014 at about 11:00 AM complaint has  received a call from mobile No. 7063926269, In which the unknown person  told him that the ATM Card is being renewed in next five minutes. After some time  he found debited Rs. 45,000/- from his SBI account. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhupinder Singh, I/O PS Rohru.

     

     

  3. An Accident case FIR No. 40/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 17.06.2014 U/S 279 304-A IPC on the rukka of HC Maan Dass No. 81, I/O PP Tikkar alleging therein that on 17.06.2014 one person namely Lekh Raj S/o Sh. Sarju Ram R/o Village- Banatri, PO- Mandhol, Tehsil- Jubbal, Shimla was going from Sharontha to Tikkar by his Maruti Car No. HP-10-1016. When he reached near Bujandli, he lost control from his car and fell down 150 feet from the road and the above person died on the spot.  Case is being investigated by HC Maan Dass, I/O PP Tikkar.

     

  4. An Accident case FIR No. 98/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 18.06.2014 U/S 279 337 304-A IPC statement of Sh. Prem Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Krishan Chand R/o Village- Kathiyana, PO- Okhru, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 18.06.2014 at 06:45 PM, he was present in his house and heard a big sound and crying of people from the outside. He went outside and saw that HRTC Bus No. HP-03B-6038 fell down approximately 130/135 feet from the road. In which driver of Bus namely Hans Raj died on the spot and 10 passengers got injured in this accident. Case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath.

     

  5. During last 24 hours 227 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 33,200/-.
