Crime Report on July 25, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 94/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24.07.2018 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SHO PS Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.07.2018 at about 03-00 PM, during patrolling along with staff near Zero Point Dakolar, one person namely Ajay Thakur S/o Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Chalawat PO Bhadawali Tehsil Rampur District Shimla, age 23 years, intercepted by them and during the search, 3 gram Chitta (Heroin), 1 Gram Charas & Cash Rs. 38,000/- recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Rampur.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 154/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajesh, I/O PS Shimla Sadar alleging therein that on 24.07.2018 at about 05-45 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Puneet Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Sohan Lal R/o House No. 11, below Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 21 years apprehended by them near Local Bus Stand, Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh, I/O PS Shimla Sadar.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 155/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Chand, I/O PS Shimla Sadar alleging therein that on 24.07.2018 at about 10-45 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Tula Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Dumar Singh R/o Village Pali PO, PS & District Dullu, Anchal Karnali, Ward No.-3, Nepal, age 45 years A/P C/o Raju-Ka-Dhara, Below Gurudwara, Old ISBT, Shimla apprehended by them near Panchayat Bhawan Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/O PS Sadar.

4.    A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 107/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.07.2018 U/S 451, 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Chauhan S/O Sh. Man Dass Chauhan R/O Vill. Vijmal Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla HP A/P Manager Sunrise Guest House Rohru alleging therein that on 24.07.2018 at 11.00 PM, when he was sleeping in his room, at the same time one person namely Sonu Deshta R/o Sainji Tehsil Rohru entered in his Guest House and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Vishesh Kumar I/C PP City Rohru.

5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 105/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 24.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bharat Singh S/o Sh. Krishan Singh R/o Village Darshal PO Jagothi, Tehsil Rohru, District Shimla, alleging therein that on 24.07.2018 at about 03-00 PM, he along with his family was going from Rohru to Hatkoti in his vehicle. On the way, another car came rashly with negligent driving in wrong side and hit his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod, I/O PS Rohru.   

6.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 72/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 24.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Govind Kumar S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village & PO Kalpa Distritc Kinnaur, HP alleging therein that on 24.07.2018 at about 10-15 PM, he along with his family was coming to Shimla from Kalpa. At Jeori Bazar, whey they going to hotel for taking the meal, at the same time, a vehicle No. HP06A-8256, came rashly with negligent driving from Rampur side and hit his father namely Mast Ram and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.   

7.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 135/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 24.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of  Smt. Sulekha W/o  Sh. Vinod Sharma R/o Village Nandla Jangla Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla stated therein that she was travelling from Rohru to Shimla with her husband and children in their private vehicle no HP10A- 0214. As they reached Thanda Nala near Charabra, a private bus Chauhan Bus Service No. HP63-2879 came rashly with negligent driving and hit their vehicle. In this accident, they all sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by SI Chaman Lal IO PS Dhalli.    

8.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 143/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 25.07.2018 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the  rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chailla, Theog alleging therein that today at about 07-45 AM, a Alto K-10 Car No. HP09C-4807 met with an accident near Parala and rolled down 200 meter from the road. Three persons were travelling in this car. In this accident, two persons namely Rajender Singh S/o Sh. Bala Nand R/o Village Kadrab, PO Choeg, Tehsil Theog, Shimla  and Mohan Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Ganga Ram R/o Village Fagu Dehna PO Cheog, Tehsil Theog, age 42 years died on the spot and one person sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Thoeg).

9.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 108/18 dated 25-07-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Rohru on the statement of Sh. Gian Chand S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Doi PO Badach Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla stated therein that today around 12-10 PM when he was coming from Patsari to Rohru one alto Car No. HP10B-0749 came rashly and negligently towards Patsasri and hit his Pickup No. HP06-2195 and they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kuldeep I.O PS Rohru.

10.  A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 144/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 25.07.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 41, 42 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Deepak Kumar A/P Forest Guard, Incharge Pachhad Beat, Godna Balsan, Forest Range, Deha alleging therein that on the intervening night of 20.07.2018, some unknown person has cut the 04 tree of Devdar in Kadharan-Pachhad beat and stolen the timber from forest. The case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram I/C PP Deha PS Theog.   

11.  During last 24 hours 376vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 229 fine realized Rs.  81,600/- and 36 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,600/-.

Crime Report on July 24, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 194/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West on 23.07.2018 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Shimla-West alleging therein that on 23.07.2018 at about 10-30 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking, two persons namely Mantahn Thakur S/o Sh. Surjeet Singh R/o Village & PO Nishani, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu and Ashish Negi S/o Sh. Visheshwar Negi R/o Village Choura Tehsil Nichar District Kinnuar, intercepted by them near Tourism Workshop at Old Barrier Shimla and during the search 2.30 Gram Chitta and 08 Injection insulin recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS West.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 31/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 24.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 184 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Roop Lal Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village & PO Shakra Tehsil Karsog District Mandi alleging therein that today on 24.07.2018, he along with Badri Dass & Mahavir Prakash were travelling from Tattapani to Sunni in Auto No. HP50-0748, driven by Madan Lal. At about 12-15 PM, as they reached near Vedwa Nala, at the same time, one vehicle No. HP63-9157, came rashly with negligent driving and hit the Auto. In this accident, they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Krishan, I/O PS Sunni.   

3.    ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS Case FIR No. 46/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 24.07.2018 U/S 336, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagdish S/o Sh. Devi Dutt R/o Village Tharu PO Bankatwa Odda No. 8, Anchal Rawati Nepal, age 28 years A/P C/o Neeraj Thakur S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Bagga,  PO Chalner, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that today around 08-15 AM, a large wooden piece which was negligently put back side of his dhara by unknown person suddenly, fell on his dhara due to which his mother Smt. Rupa Devi sustained injuries and died during treatment in the hospital. The case is being investigated by ASI Hari Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

4.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 153/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 23.07.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vikas Kumar S/o Sh. Ishwar Raj R/o Muhalla Mai ka Bag, PO Sultanpur, Tehsil & District Chamba, alleging therein that he along with his family were came to IGMC Shimla for the treatment of his uncle. On 22.07.2018, some unknown person has stolen his bag along with cash Rs. 45,000/-, ATM Card and two ladies suits. The case is being investigated by HC Virender Mohan, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 53/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 23.07.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Ramla Rathour W/o Sh. Govind Singh R/o Village Kansoli (Shawala) PO Nerwa, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 20/21.07.2018, some unknown person has broken the door lock of her home and stolen away her jewellery & cash Rs. 35,000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Sant Ram, I/O PS Nerwa.

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 81/18 Dt. 22.07.18 U/S 279 337 IPC PS Kumarsain has been registered on the statement of Sh. Suresh Mehta S/o Sh. Main Ram R/o Village Noon, PO Khunni, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.07.2018 at about 06-30 PM, a vehicle No. HP63-9746, which was on the way from Narkanda to noon, met with an accident near Khabli Nalah and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Tek Chand S/o Sh. Maan Sukh R/o Village Noon, PO Khunni Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla. In this accident, Tek Chand & his friend Bansi Lal sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Mansa Ram, I/C PP Narkanda. 

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 45/18 Dt. 22.07.18 U/S 279 304A IPC PS Kotkhai  has been registered on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Baghi (Kotkhai) alleging therein that on 22.07.2018 at about 06-00 PM, one vehicle No. HP09A-1324 met with an accident at Dogra Nalah & rolled down 100 meter from the road. In this accident driver of above vehicle namely Jyoti S/o Sh. Vijay Singh R/o Village Chagani PO Ratnari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Baghi (Kotkhai). 

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 151/18 Dt. 22.07.18 U/S 279 337 IPC PS Sadar has been registered on the statement of Sh. Karmu Uraon S/o Sh. Devsai Uraon R/o Village Bilagada PO & PS Ghagra District Gumla (Jharkhand), age 40 years A/P Yoshoda Bhawan, Kuftadhar, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.07.2018 at about 06-30 AM, one vehicle No. PB01B-9560 (Tempo Traveler) met with an accident near Kuftadhar and rolled down 150/200 feet from the road, due to rash & negligent driving of Harjeet Singh @ Happy S/o  Sh. Laxman Singh R/o House No. 54, Sec.-9, Rambag Road, Azad Nagar, Khardu District Mohali, Punjab, age 33 years, and sustained injuries.   

4.    During last 24 hours 339vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 147 fine realized Rs.  55,500/- and 37 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,000/-.

Crime Report on July 22, 2018

1.  AN ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 134/18 Dt. 21.07.18 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Dhalli on the rukka of SI Ramesh Chand, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.07.2018 at about 07-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Amit Chauhan S/o Sh. Rattan Singh R/o Village Aasteen PO Samoli Tehsil Rohru District Shimla, age 24 years intercepted by them at HPSEB Transformer near Batish Colony. During search 4.27 Gram Chitta (Heroin) has been recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ramesh Chand, I/C PP Sanjauli, PS Dhalli Shimla.  

2.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 140/18 dated 21-07-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC & 187 MV act has been registered at PS Theog on the statement of Sh. Roshan Lal S/o late Sh. Reep Ram Sharma R/o Vill Bindal PO Ghalea Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 21-07-2018 he was going back to his home from Theog in his vehicle No. HP09C-2776 (Alto 800). Around 12-30 PM when he reached near Khol Gali Theog at the same time one white colour Swift car No. HP08A-1820 came rashly and negligently in wrong side towards Chailla and hit his car and run away towards Theog. In the accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Subodh Kumar I.O PS Theog.

3.   AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 141/18 dated 21.07.2018 u/s 279 IPC & 187 MV act has been registered at PS Theog on the complaint of  Sandeep Kumar S/o late Sh. Jiya Lal Verma R/o Ram Singh House Ram Nagar Shimla alleging therein that on 21.07.2018 he was going to Theog from Shimla in his vehicle No. HP09C-5754 (Swift) driven by Rajeev Thakur. Around 6-30 PM when they  reached  at Electricity office near Theog one Vehicle No. HP09A-4198 came rashly and negligently towards Theog and hit his vehicle and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Subodh Kumar I.O PS Theog.  

4.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 143/18 dated 22-07-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC & 184 MV Act has been registered at PS Theog on the statement of Sh. Padam Dev S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Vill Dharnu PO Bakhalag Distt. Solan stated therein that he was going to Narkanda in his vehicle No. HP01S-1134 (Innova) with passengers. Around 10-45 AM when he reached near Sandhu at the same time one vehicle No. HP35-8900 came with dangerous driving in wrong side and collide with his vehicle. In this accident all persons sat on the vehicle sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Chand I.O PS Theog.

5.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 92/18 dated 22-07-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Rampur on the statement of Rajender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Puran Dass R/o House No. 38 ward No. 07 Khopri Rampur stated therein that he is driver in HPPWD Rampur Division. Today he was going from Nogli to Bhawanagar in Vehicle No. HP06A-2860 and when he reached near Chuhabag around 7-30 AM one vehicle No. HP06A-1038 driven by Vikram S/o Bansi Lal came rashly and negligently and collide with his vehicle. In this accident 02 persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Jaswant I.O PS Rampur.

6.    During last 24 hours 293vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 160 fine realized Rs.  56,500/- and 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,200/-.

1.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.87/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East today 20.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mehar Chand I/O PS Shimla East alleging threrein that on 20.07.2018 at about 06-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on the road from Old Brockhurst to Vijay Nagar, one person namely Sunil Vaid S/o  Lt. Sh. Mandan Lal R/o Village Badmajra near Verak Plant PO & Tehsil Mohali, Shimla A/P C/o Uday Ram Niwas Brockhurst, Chhota Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1. The case is being investigated by ASI Mehar Chand, I/O PS East.    

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 88/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-East on 20.07.2018 U/S 279 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Chaman Lal S/o Sh. Jai Lal R/o Village Magara PO Madol, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 40 years stated therein on 20.07.2018, he alongwith his wife, children & brother was going to home from Shimla in vehicle No. HP10B-2133 (Alto-800). At about 02-00 PM, when he reached Police Colony Crossing at Panthaghati on NH-22, at the same time one Pick-up No. HP10B-2133, driven by Virender Kaushal S/o Sh. Dharma Nand R/o  Aim Villa Niwas Chhota Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Mahesh Dogra, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 67/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 20.07.18 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Kanta Negi W/o Sh. Prabhu Dayal R/o Village Gharat PO Bonda Tehsil Rampur District Shimla stated therein that on 20.07.2018, one Maruti Car No. HP06A-8742 met with an accident and rolled down from the road near SSB Main Gate Shlabag due to rash & negligent driving of Vipin Kumar. In this accident four persons (01 Gents, 01 lady & 02 children) sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Negi, I/C PP Sarahan.

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 79/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 20.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rohit Dharma S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/o Village Chati PO Jarol Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, age 26 years alleging therein that on a vehicle No. HP06A-2182 met with an accident near Narkanda due to rash & negligent driving of Nikhil Shyam S/o Sh. Roop Lal R/o Village Kanaila PO Jarol Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla. In this accident he & Nikhil, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ramsain, I/O PS Kumarsain.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 80/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Santosh Verma S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village Bahu PO Chowai Tehsil Anni District Kullu alleging therein that today on 21.07.2018, a JCB A/F met with an accident at Rehdi Khad near Oddi due to rash & negligent driving of Yashpal S/o Sh. Luti Ram R/o Village Chandpur PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh, I/O PS Kumarsain.   

6.    During last 24 hours 340 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 127 fine realized Rs.  46,800/- and 23 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,400/-.

Crime Report on July 20, 2018

1. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 30/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 19.07.2018 U/S 13A-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Jaswant, I/O PP Jalog, Shimla alleging  therein that on 19.07.2018 at about 02-10 PM, during patrolling along with staff near Bag Khad (Tehsil Sunni), four persons apprehended by them during playing gambling with cards in public place and seized Rs. 5,000/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Jaswant, I/C PP Jalog, Shimla.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 138/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila, Theog alleging therein that on 19.07.2018 at about 06-15 PM, during patrolling along with staff towards Parala Sainj, Mypul etc., one person apprehended by them along with 12 Bottles of Country liquor & 12 Bottles of Beer. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Jalog.
3. A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 139/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 20.07.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 41, 42 The Indian Forest Act on the statement of HHC Ranjeet Kainthla, I/C Judicial Guard, Theog A/P Apple Control Centre Naian (Balag) stated therein that  on 19.07.2018 at about 09-15 PM, one Bolero-Camper No. HP16-8460 stopped by them for checking. Four persons were sit inside the above vehicle.  During the search, 77 Tin Resin (Beroja) recovered from the above vehicle under their possession carrying without permit/licence. The case is being investigated by HC Sunny Both, I/O PS Theog.   
4. During last 24 hours 312 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 169 fine realized Rs.  74,600/- and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,100/-.

1. Accused i) Dharmender Singh S/o Sh. Bhagat Singh R/o Village Bhattakuffer, PO Kamla Nagar, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 29 years & ii) Inder Singh S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Kamaltu, PO Kiar-Koti, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 147/18 Dt. 18.07.2018 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar remanded in Judicial Custody upto 21-07-2018 by the Ld. Court.

2.   Accused Inder Singh S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Annu Kshedal, PO Kiar-Koti, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 34 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 146/18 Dt. 18.07.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar,  today released on bail by the Ld. Court. 

3.    Accused Praveen Kumar @ Gautam S/o Sh. Puranmal R/o Village Manana PO Samalkha District Panipat, Haryana arrested in case FIR No. 144/18 Dt. 17.07.2018 u/s 376,506 IPC is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
